Requested Bank Wire 1/27 for 9550 (50$ fee)
Recieved 2/4 9461$
Bovada is not replenishing the difference for what they claim to be a conversion rate for whatever currency they use to send to my US bank. This is not right. When people deposit the conversion rate is not taken into account.

so you ended up paying only a 1.5% fee to receive it in a week, which is pretty fast, and you think that is not right. The only thing not right about this is on your end. I'm bet those people who were waiting 3+ weeks or more for their wires, or the people who were told that they are not eligible for wires, would be happy to pay a 1.5% fee to receive it in a week

I payed a 50$ fee for the withdrawal. I was always deducted 39$ because of the conversion rate. Im happy i got the money but this is just annoying. I could of got 39 McChickens with that. And get on your bike. I did nothing wrong on my end. I payed for my funds. I didn't short them when i deposited.

Don't get used to it. It's bound to slow down after the super bowl. Just a guess though.

Depending on the stakes you play and the number of tables you are capable of playing efficiently, your win-rate at some stakes might need to be 10bb/100+ higher at Bovada just to break even vs other sites because you are paying so much more rake and only four tabling. Most players are just not going to be able to accomplish that despite the softer games. Obviously as you get up into the higher stakes where the effects of rake are minimized and just four tabling becomes less of a detriment on your bottom line it becomes much more advantageous.
Fair point. I didn't consider rake because I was under the impression it was the same for both sites. I looked at 100 NL mainly, and if you play 8 tables, figure about 550 hands/hour so if you can scratch out a 3 BB/100 win rate then you're making $16.50/hour. On Bovada I've been making between $20-25/hour at 100, so from just looking at hourly, and disregarding rake, it's no contest.

Mine was Requested the 28th, Approved 29th and hit my Debit Card account today the 5th. I talked to the Debit Card company and they said that, for the second time in a row, Bovada had made a mistake when sending them the information and that caused the delay.

Paid and happy here tho. Hope that helps.

maybe i'm wrong here...but i don't think you should be communicating with the debit card company that bovada is the one funding your account. afterall you did have to send in verification documents to supposedly be approved by MC.

your right, It has in the past. Whether it was a coincidence or not who knows.

One thing I thought about the fast payouts recently, which may not be that relevant, is that this week is probably the the most highly deposited week during the year ... tons of people put money on here just to get the super bowl so probably a huge net deposit time of year for them.

Yeah, it definitely depends of your situation, plus you personally are playing a little higher. Although the rake is still a big factor at NL100, it is starting to break some by then. I was more commenting on microstakes, I believe someone mentioned NL5. At microstakes rake is brutal, especially at Bovada with no rake relief. Its been awhile since I saw actual numbers, but you can be paying at least 6-8bb/100 in rake at some micro levels Im pretty sure. Lets assume you are winning at a modest 3bb/100 at another network playing ten tables of NL10 getting 800/HPH getting 40% RB from RB+promotions, you'd be making roughly $4.64/Hour. If you were the same NL10 player four tabling Bovada at 300/HPH with virtually no RB you'd need to be winning at 15bb/100, five times your winrate at the other site, just to break even. The games are better on Bovada, but not that much better most likely.

I just did that real fast so the numbers might be off slightly. You do get 1-2% RB at Bovada which I didn't factor in for example. But in general you can see the effects of paying 30%-40% less rake and no table cap can have on your winrate especially at these micro levels.

Oh yeah, I got a 2/1 debit card withdraw that came in today on 2/5 FWIW if that helps anyone.

Damn. Yeah those are some sobering numbers. Plus if you grinded ACR up to say 25 NL then switched over to Bovada even at 100 NL you would completely murder Bovada. Good to know for sure. I did notice that iHEI is acting up on Bovada again though...hope they get this resolved at some point.

Bro, the Debit Card that we are talking about is one that was set-up through Bovada as a payout option.

Big Win!! Now over 28K. Bovada

What's the best way to get $$$ out. What about IRS? Is it against the law to get your money?

It's against the law to not pay taxes on your money.

Also, post in the bovada thread.

"Bro"did you ever think bovada might have registered this method on the DL? No banks or financial institutions in the US want to have anything to do with facilitating gambling transactions.

But who knows, bovada could own the debit card company for all I know. Anyway I just like to be safer than sorry when I post or discuss.

If the debit card company is in the U.S., it is illegal for them to knowingly process transactions for internet gambling.
