Anyone have experience with this behavior? I was told previously by a bovada rep to "Please also let us know if you've incurred any fees, and include a copy of your bank statement so we can reimburse them." First time having this issue.
I have had two checks bounce recently - just scan all the documents (The returned check you should get in the mail from your bank, a copy of your statement either printed from bank or from online that shows the fees being deducted from your bank account, and any other accompanying documents that come with your returned check). Both times they refunded the money into my account, plus the fees, within 48 hours. It's a hassle for sure but they have always made it right if that makes you feel any better.

Can checks bounce within 24 hours, though? (Maybe they can, I don't really know). This sounds like his/her bank just might not accept foreign checks. Which would make sense that Bovada has to issue a stop on the check, if it's still actually a good check.

That's a good point, I guess its important to find out exactly what is going on by him/her calling his bank. The reason why I assumed it bounced was because on my statement it says "Foreign Check return fee" - and when I see that I know that in a few days I will be getting the check in the mail because it wasn't good. But yes, that is usually a month or two after I deposit it - not a few days.

Honestly, the two best sources for advice in what to do/what is happening are (1) the bank and (2) Bodog - its hard for people on the internet to give good advice/knowledge without knowing all the details.

Can someone confirm that the Debit Card(not VFF) option still exists? If so what are the time frames, max amounts and allowed frequency of withdrawals? Thanks.

It's still available for me. I think it differs from person to person though. Your best bet would just be to email or call them and try to get it added.

Time frame = 5-10 business days
Max amount = $2500 every 7 days
Max allowed = one every 7 days

has anyone had issues with banks inquiring to the origin of VFF withdrawals? If so, how did you handle it/ how would you hypothetically handle it.

Did a bank contact you? I have not had issues yet but I always get email beforehand from Bovada that if bank inquires about VFF, you should contact Bovada before responding to bank to prevent delays in processing your withdrawal. I imagine they will give you instructions if you have a problem.

How does that work? When a bank calls you, do you go 'Uhh, I gotta go now. Bye!', hang up, then call Bovada? lol
