Seems like a Visa Not so Fast wth

Replacement check from the August one that bounced was deposited on 10/18/2015 and it still has not cleared 2 months later. This is starting to get really annoying, the last time it took this long it bounced (I found out 2 months and 2 weeks after I deposited it). If this replacement one bounces I may have to rethink this method and go to bank wires (I'm not eligible for VFF).

Deposited a check on 11/27, said it would be sent to collections and take about 1-2 weeks...almost month later havent heard anything. I'm guessing yours was sent to collections as well? heard Canadian collections can take some time but i'm starting to get uneasy

Mine go to collections 100% of the time because I use a very small regional bank with doesn't process international checks themselves so they send it to big national bank which takes a cut. So mine always take longer. However, the ones that clear never take more then 2 months.

Worst case scenario they cut you another one (to Bovada's credit they put the money back in my account within 48 hours of sending them all the documentation, plus they refunded the fees I was charged), but it is a hassle you don't want to deal with for sure.

Just a few FYI's:
- I have attemped many withdrawals using VFF, Wire and Check within the last 2 months.
- Bank wires took a week from request to being in my account.
- VFF (last week) was changed to check by courier even though I have received funds to the card before.
- Checks by courier get approved in two days, but seem to sit at the processor anywhere from 5-30 days.

Deposited it at our patriotic bank, took one day to clear. Tracking number was received one day prior to arrival.

deposited on my friends CHyAAAsse (signed check over to his account) account..... third of the monies already cleared. Teller said everything clears by Monday coz it's the weekend.

Early in November I wrote the above regarding my Bovada card experience in a reply to someone elses situation. Well, today, totally out of the blue, about four months after my original invitation, my card came. The only explanation that I could think of as to why the ridiculous timing of this process was that they were again just trying to slow, limit, or control the usage of the cards. Similar to what they've done with VFFs and RTs recently.

So if anyone is waiting on a card in the future, apparently the delivery window is pretty wide at their discretion.

Also, nothing newsworthy but I did get a 12/2 check on 12/18 since I'm already posting.

WD requested 12/8, approved on 12/9, check received on Saturday 12/19..I am impressed!

what documentation did they require to get a new one?

I called 3 days ago, they put me on hold for 30 mins then said they would call me with an update. They never called. I called today and they said they are working hard to get payments out, but no update possible, no tracking number, nothing. It has been like 16 business days. I requested and got a check and cashed it a few weeks ago and everything was so smooth. Anyone have thoughts? Is this standard payout variance?

Nothing to see here really. Checks have been sitting in the 2-4 week range generally lately. It will probably come soon.

yeah it's really random. the frustrating part after receiving the card is the company's customer service. it's very close to worthless. 80% of the time they just tell you they'll call you back in 24 hours and never do. I submitted verification docs probably 4-5 weeks ago and never heard anything. I called and they said 'we should have emailed you to tell you that there was a mismatch in your registered home address and your utility bill home address.'

the number was off by a digit. smh. they just left it that way and never contacted me.

now finally i can log into the site but when I called friday to set a PIN for my card the rep told me that they were having some issues setting up PINs and I would hopefully be eligible to register a 4 digit PIN today. Tried to call. No answer.

Cashed out via this method on 12/18. Card company rep told me even if i don't have a PIN i can still use the card for purchases.

Estimated timeframe for CIH according to bovada's email is 2 business days. Hopeflly it hits tomorrow.

Yeah, in before they go rogue like the last Bodog card. I trust Bovada to cover the losses if they do so I'm not worried too much about using it but I definitely don't trust the card company. Post back when you get your withdraw octopus. Thanks.

How are you guys doing VFF withdraws? I don't see it as an option any more. Only Check, Bank or RapidTranfers. I e-mailed Bovada too, but figure you guys could answer my question better Thanks!

First and foremost you need to have deposited with an eligible card. After that, I believe that Bovada will choose as to whether to give you VFF as a withdraw option. I say that because many of us have had the option removed recently despite having eligible cards that have been used with VFF withdraws many times. It seems just having a good card isn't always enough anymore.

As with all most withdraw options on the site, they tend to be player specific and at Bovadas discretion.

Basically the best you can do is make a min deposit with your card and your might get it as an option or you might not.
