might seem like a dumb question .. but if I wanted to: can I request a visa fast fund , and a wire transfer on the same day, both being free of charge with each having no fees (once per month)

i believe you'll be charged $50. it's just one free withdrawal method of your choice per month.

It's been 5 days now since I received my VFF into my bank account (listed as "posted", not "pending" in my bank statement) and it still isn't showing up in my "available balance". I spoke to another poster thru PM who said he has waited up to 10 days one time for it to clear his bank. Has anyone else had any recent issues with VFF's taking a long time to be made available by their banks? Thanks.

I was wondering the same question from requesting a check from the CC company for the positive balance several times a month. You can change the VFF credit card on file by depositing with a Visa Debit Card (issued from a bank) to avoid the hassle and concern of requesting frequent checks from the credit card company. It appears Bovada keeps the most recent deposit method credit card on file for the VFF option.

I tried my first VFF cashout to a debit card on Sunday and I will post a trip report when it's finished.

Cashout request: 8/10/15
Method: check
Received tracking number: 9/15/15

Of all the checks requested, this one took the longest. This one is shipped from Singapore and shipped via DHL. My previous checks have been from Canada and shipped Fed Ex in the past.

Just be careful when asking for the payout on the last day of the month - many times it will get approved the next day (which is a new calendar month) and sometimes they charge me the $50 fee if I ask for a payout later in the new month because they counted when it was approved not when I requested it. However, every single time this has happened to me they refunded the fee after calling them.

I think your only option is check. They might ask you for verification documents to make sure its you but other than I don't see why they would ask you for anything else.

Check for ~$750

Req: 9/14
App: ???
Rec: ???

This is my second check of the month, my first one was requested 9/8, approved 9/10, and I have yet to receive it. I was impatient and willing to take the $50 hit. We'll see how this goes, will update.

I was wondering about the new MasterCard Pre-Paid Debit Card where I will be able to withdrawal cash or transact at any ATM or retailer that accepts MasterCard. I want to get this money to my checking account ASAP with little/no fee and am wondering the best way to do that if it is possible at all.....should I go to my bank, web site, atm, money services store or what?

Background on this matter: Check req 09/01 and rec 09/10.

I went to the bank today and they apparently lost the check. They gave me a case number while they try to figure out what to do. How do you think I should proceed? I'm thinking I should wait a week and then ask Bovada to reverse the payment. Is that the right way to handle it?

Whenever I deposit a check the teller has to fill out some special form and then they send it off to "international collections" at which point its basically in limbo, it does not show up in my bank anywhere. The tellers at my bank cant even tell by looking in the computer that I have a deposit being "processed" but I always get a reciept and then between 10-15 business days it shows up in my account. I usually, but not always, get a letter a few days after depositing that states "We are sending this blah blah check for x amount of dollars to collections, we will notify you once funds are available" - Which, again, they usually do but not always and I always get the letter of availability a few days after it has hit my account. Hopefully this is all your dealing with so I would be leery of contacting Bovada and stopping payment on the check just yet. But always get a receipt or something that has a date/time/teller and amount of check

Hope this helps.

One thing to note: Bovada never asked me to send in any verifying docs before approving the check withdrawal. I deposited with CC.

Kinda unusual to see these differ by even this many days. I guess counting 9/08 this is the 7th business day.

Got a very important question for those of you who play professionally in the U.S. for substantial (>$100k) income.

As most folks in the US know, due to the Bank Secrecy act, the feds review deposit transactions in excess of $10,000. So someone making over $120k playing online could be technically withdrawing at or over that $10k amount from the poker site (Bovada) on a monthly or regular basis.

My question is, do the feds flag those wires and has anybody ever been asked about those deposits?
