Requested my first payout in years today. (Didn't play poker for a while)

Approved like an hour later. No docs needed to be sent in. God bless bovada

Thanks for adding that because I wasn't 100% sure. I know that Smells Cargo charges 3%, as well.

I just got my withdrawal changed today from bank transfer to check by courier. I live in Canada. Anyone have any idea why? I tried a withdrawal for my card last month to test it and it worked fine. Also what is VFF?

Can you VFF to a Netspend?

No. At least not in my experience. I average around 1% effective cashout rake, for similar sized cashouts (a little bit less actually, .9% seems the common value). This is with ch4s3 bank.

I'd call your bank. Was it just the foreign currency conversion that reduced the value, or were there bank wire fees?

You don't receive checks immediately when you queue them up like that. First check gets processed, 7 days later, next check gets processed, 7 days later... yadda yadda. So your 7/7 should be coming around the 20th or so, if I was to rely on my expert guesswork.

ah ty for that explanation Malefiicus. Wasn't aware of that and it makes perfect sense. Although I am now regretting spending 150 on check fees.
At least the checks aren't late yet.

I cant seem to find this anywhere... so if anyone knows for certain, lmk.

If you get a check from BV or anywhere, does the IRS know about it?

I am not asking about moral of claiming winnings, just want the straight answer.

Do they know?

Cuz they are just generic checks

If they audit you, they'll see the checks and you'll need an explanation for them. They'll count it all as income, and if your numbers don't line up bad things'll happen. Do they know when you get a check or VFF, the answer is nope.

You're probably on to something with the foreign conversion because red white and blue snake only charges $16 to receive an international wire and some account types are even waived from that fee.

Yeah I believe I'm charged a $15 flat fee each time. The bulk of losses that compose the total cashout rake for me are the currency conversion losses, but I've heard of people gaining money sometimes in the same fashion. His ~3% loss is far larger than what people have seemed to experience.

I must admit...I have no clue which institution is being referred to with the "snake" phrase

Wat up 2+2

Long time on the forums, although I've admittedly not been a huge content generator

I recently had a big score on Bovada around 50K and I'm exploring the options to cash-out. Need advice from the community

Two Questions from me:
1-
My bank whose acronym is the three letters of the stick you use to save files on your computer does not accept VFF

I do not have open account at other institutions, and therefore I'm stuck to the 3K/week check by courier option

Can anyone recommend an institution that i could open a checking acct with and use for VFF?

2-
Has anyone had experience withdrawing via bank wire? I have all the #s for my bank acct information but I'm not sure what Bovada is asking for with the 'Intermediary Bank Details'

Thanks
TSU

In general you can leave that blank, unless instructed otherwise by your bank or the bank of the person wiring you money.

Does anybody know if requesting a VFF for more than $2500 (which results in it being sent in $2500 increments, weekly) incurs a fee for each increment or just one fee?
