I requested this on Saturday and just got the first check for 3k today via FedEx. That was crazy fast.

I tried to deposit it through my phone but my bank said that they only except US checks via the phone app. I will take it into the bank tomorrow.

Red Room is basically the VIP program for Bovada. It's invitation only. It's for losing players for the most part

GREAT PROGRESS!! Today I've been contacted and told that they will not let me wait for any longer and process my payout via other method. I let them know how I want it and have been told that it'll be processed within time frame of 5 days and since I had to wait for so long it'll be courtesy of Bovada.
Let's see how it'll turn out and I'll update once I (hopefully) receive everything next week

Cashed out $1k on 3/17 just got my check today 3/19. Tried to deposit through the boa atm and it didn't work? Anyone have this problem? Do I have to go into the bank to cash?

Edit:

Also, I cashed out $1k there was .19 cents extra on the check? Interest?

Check payout, sir? That would be the quickest I've seen since I started recording payouts across US-facing rooms in May last year.

Also - I usually go through these types of threads every few days for payout data reported by players (on 2+2 and one other forum). I hadn't in about 2 weeks this month - just slammed busy - but I'm caught up now and figured I'd offer up the data through the myriad of posts regarding cash transfers...just to be as accurate as possible.

Checks (through March 19th): 5.05 day avg wait (22 players reporting)
Bovada stated timeframe (in actual days): 14-17 days
Difference (stated/player reported): -8.95 days

WU/MG (through March 19th): 7.30 day avg wait (10 players reporting)
Bovada stated timeframe (in actual days): 3-7 days
Difference (stated/player reported): +0.30 days

Check payouts are currently below four-month player reported averages by nearly two days. WU/MG payouts are up from four-month averages; however, over that time, wait averages never eclipsed 2.7 days.

Basically, it looks like a blip in terms of the increased wait times for cash transfers experienced by some players this month. I will continue to be monitoring, obviously, and will report again at the end of March.

Just waited 6 weeks from the Hells Cargo to clear check. And is a very discretionary processes!

Tip:

So the issuing bank from the north for bvada,we will call TouchDown Canada; there is a TouchDown affiliate in many US states (especially Fl) that is relatively easy to sign up with and clears TouchDown Canadas cheques very fast... Signed up yesterday have a new checking with 3k check in there cleared in a day.

Diversify where and how your money comes as much as you can and try not to garner excessive attention from any of the cashout avenues. Even if you are just one person. Black Friday was prompted by the many complaints and issues with various money processors (banks and ilegal operations) so we should try to adopt a general conservative approach when we all deal with cashing our money bovada sends. Bc lets face it, the only people at risk of stopping Bovada and causing another meltdown for us on this forum is the DOJ, so everyone keep this in mind.

Should I be worried about getting banned from WU?

Ive done about 6 payouts from Bovada over the past 6 months. I will usually take out about 1000 a month but I read recently in this thread that someone was banned from WU which also is linked to MG. They claimed to have only done 6 payouts in 3 months. This is an issue with me since I am in New York and Bovada will ONLY do WU/MG payouts. They will not send checks. I recently had my biggest score ever of $3700 and I really want to take off at least 2500 as I normally play $11 MTTs and really don't like having a large amount of money on there. I personally would rather redeposit then leave money on there. I was thinking about giving them a call and asking if they would send a check considering I am a pretty consistent/high volume player on their site but I am not sure if they will consider as I don't know the reasoning they don't do it in the first place.

So in New York the way it works is you get one free payout via WU/MG up to 1k every month. If I can't get a check and need to use WU I think I am going to pay the $200 fee and take off 2k and then on April 1st I can withdraw 1k more for free. Cashing out three times in a three week period (I just cashed out last week) worries me as if I get banned from WU, I am totally ****ed.

Can I get someones opinion? Makes me anxious thinking that there is a possibility I won't be able to use WU which means I cant cash out on Bovada which means I can't play anymore.

Hey guys -

Two questions:

1) Whether the check comes from up North or the Far East, will it be in American currency?

2) Does anyone know if I contact Bvd, will they send check to my work address? I only ask because a signature is required, and everyone in my household has a full-time job and won't be home. Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

  1. Only WU and MG are offered as payout options in NY.
  2. No amount of begging will make them give a check out in a jurisdiction that they don't give them out in.
  3. There are no free payouts in NY b/c the only payouts are cash payouts.
  4. If you use WU or MG too often, you can be black listed from the service.
  5. I recommend not doing max $2k transactions with WU and keeping them to about 40% of that size if you want any sort of longevity from the service.
  6. Bovada/Bodog has been around for over 19 years and is attached to a billion dollar sportsbook/casino. Your money is as safe there as it ever will be in the online gaming world, especially considering you're in the US

Hey Kahn,

Thank you for your response.

Just to clarify, because I am in NY and can only do WU payouts they offer 1 free WU payout up to 1k every calender month. Anything over 1k or any other transactions will result in paying a fee.

How often would you recommend withdrawing then? Once a month?

Its difficult because it kind of hinders my drive to play if I can only take out a thousand a month. I really wanted to move up but if I wont even be able to enjoy that money for months what is the point? Am I just **** out of luck until I move to a different state?

Just be aware that your bank may try to charge a conversion fee. I posted about this a while back, but I had a teller try to charge a conversion fee even though the check clearly stated US funds. The teller had something pop up because it wasn't a US check and just started clicking buttons to make the computer stop questioning her, and that involved a conversion fee and amount change. She had to call a manager over to figure out how to deposit US funds into a US bank account from a Canadian check.

Question now. I bank with Ch4s3. Is it better to deposit through ATM or teller inside?

Awesome, thanks! I wasn't sure if check delivery was the same as packages.

I use AASU (read backwards), which is an online bank for military and family. Spoke with a rep today who said I can deposit my checks like I normally do, via UPS Store or taking a picture and using the app. I prefer the UPS Store.

She said there's no conversion fee, though, because the check is international, it might take 5-10 business days to clear (which is fine).

Anyone else have experience using Bvd and AASU?

Where's the check from? If it's from up north, then teller. If far east, then ATM should work

I've had one bank wire take 3 weeks. That was back in September. I'm still waiting on one that was approved Feb. 8th.

I just tried to reset up bank wires with my new bank and after bovada said it was processed i got DHL tracking info a few days later so looks like they are splitting it into checks. frustrating.

Fwiw, not all northern checks get rejected by the ATM. My last last check was from up north and was fine. I guess it depends on what bank issued the check. You can just count the routing numbers when you get the check. I believe if it has nine numbers the ATM will accept it.
