As have yall, I have been waiting since

June 13th for a check

Come to find out they discontinued the check by mail (which I requested) to check by courier, operator stated they reprocessed the check.

Sounds to me I most likely will be waiting 40 more days, since the new courier *estimate is 40 days* which will turn into 50-60 with my luck

I ask for the reprocessing date, they said they don't have that information. Like my a$$ they don't. I highly believe they don't count on the 3rd party processors to be 100% honest. They keep the paper work or document it on the computer.

The only bright side is payouts by Western Union or Moneygram get processed in 5 days, already gotten a payout that was a week ago before the one I processed a month+ ago. Does this seem fair to the other people??

Payout department must be led by a *****, do all the payouts in western union or money gram. Discontinue or put a stop pay on all checks simple. Send out mass emails to everyone who requested checks or check by courier during that time period stating that their check is converted to a WU or MG transaction where the process can go faster meaning get paid in 5 days. That way all the people who have been waiting can see some $$$.

And for the not having used WU or MG before, I don't see why thats an issue? They still have their information, we can send for a first time to someone random in the Phillipines but, they can't send us until we have processed at least 1 WU ro MG transaction. I do believe they can send money to the costumers that have been doing business with them. Period!

I am highly fed up with all online sites, as Sportsbook did me the same way earlier waited 3 months to get paid. I think the simpliest solution is either WU or MG transactions or go to a CASINO and get PAID in CASH!

I've been waiting since June 9th. Not only did they retroactively give me the 40 business days deal, they've also informed me that my single payout request will be broken up into 4 checks 7-10 business day apart!

I just got a Rapid Transfer payout that I want to cashout in Maryland but my address is in FL. They say it will not work, but will it?

Just a quick note: If you have a PO Box Number listed as your mailing address to receive checks by mail, you will need to do a Change of Address to a physical location before they will approve a Money Transfer. Also, before they will send out the new Debit Card, you have to send in verification of your physical address. Can be a pain if you have all your utility bills and bank statements going to your PO box.

I deposited via eWalletXpress, so now my only option is a courier check that will take 40 business days.

Is it a viable option for me to deposit some more money into my account via Rapid Transfer or Money Transfer just so I can have the quicker cash out option afterwards? How does that work exactly? Can I deposit $50 via one of those methods, then turn around a few days later and cashout $1000 or so via the same method?

I'm trying to decide if that will be worth it instead of waiting forever for a check.

I have a payout from May 24th that was "converted to check by courier" as Bodog claims. I am extremely pissed off with how Bodog has handled payouts lately, and I am most sick of how their customer service acts ******ed and gives you a run around when it comes to finding out what the problem is with the payouts. I think it's Bodog's customer service policy to just tell you as little as possible. I can't tell you how many times I was told it should be there "the beginning of next week." I'm just sick of the bull**** excuses and I think that anyone who plays on Bodog should be well aware that their number one priority is definately not making sure that their players can actually access their funds. I have been since told of a debit card that supposedly gets you a payout within 5-7 days..but who knows what the real story will be once I receive that. When I first started using Bodog the check payout feature took, as their site correctly stated, 15-20 business days. Sometimes the checks would arrive within a WEEK...not 7 business days...a week...Now I'm wondering if I'll ever get the damn email with the tracking information Bodog has promised. I first contacted Bodog writing:

""Once processed from your eCash account, a couriered check should arrive in approximately 15 - 20 business days. This delivery timeframe is only an estimate and may not reflect the actual date you receive your check."

I'm not understanding how my checks are taking longer than a month to get to me. I requested a payout for 1539.00 on May 23rd...it's not July 8th and I don't have that check. Can someone explain to me what the problem is? There has to be a faster way to get this check in my mailbox...It takes you a matter of seconds to charge my credit card and take my money, yet it takes almost a month and a half to get a check? I have two checks coming to me...the 2nd I requested for 1000.00 on June 24th, and I guess I won't be seeing that till next year? I want somebody who cares about my business as a bodog player to contact me and let me know what we can do to resolve this problem. I enjoy gaming with bodog, but holding my money hostage is not inspiring me to continue placing myself in debt and getting hit with extra unnecessary interest. "

To which they replied:

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

In regards to your inquiry, we experienced a small delay due to the forth of July holiday that set us back on our delivery times. Because it was sent to you via Check by Courier you should expect to receive your check at the beginning of next week.

Should you not receive the check in this new projected timeframe we ask that you call, so that we may file a formal inquiry as to where your check currently is.

If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-888-263-0000 ext 2.

I couldn't contain myself when I realized that their excuse for why my May 24th payout wasn't sent out by the end of July was the 4th of July holiday!!! So i replied:

This explanation would make sense, if I hadn't requested the check on May 24th...5 weeks before the Fourth Of July...Why are you sending my check AFTER the Fourth of July? I would like an explanation better than one that makes no sense. You say you will send a check within 15-20 business days....I'm still missing how it could possibly take over 30 business days, given today marks the 32nd business day that this check still hasn't been sent. July 4th was the 26th business day, well over the 15-20 business days that you state on your website and program. Maybe you should change the information that you give out to your clients when soliciting your website to a more accurate depiction of how Bodog payouts really work. It should state, "Please don't wait up for your payout, the average payout will take between 30-50 business days."

Just a suggestion. I'll keep this all in mind when I'm thinking about depositing more money into my Bodog account. I have numerous friends who play on sites like Absolute Poker and they get their checks usually within 1 week, thats 5 business days and 2 non-business days....just a little FYI. I've copied this email to a number of my colleagues, a few of whom also happen to be Bodog clients. I think other players should be aware of what your company is doing to unnessarily delay your payouts.

How does Bodog respond?

Another b.s. email stating the REAL reason...not the 4th of July holiday b.s. excuse but "We have a problem with our third party check people..." So they ask me to please be patient and it should only take 40 business days for check by courier now. And how funny, after that email they changed the writing on their payout information from 15-20 to 40 business days.. Hah......Okay...so now its July 28th...far from 40 business days after May 24th...do I have a tracking number with my courier information? NO. God knows how long this could take to get, and i have 3 other payouts i requested after May 24th. Caveat emptores..........

Didn't Stars give you an additional 20% of your withdrawal to apologize for a relatively minor delay? Bodog's taking so long that they should really be paying us interest on the money at the very least.

Is anyone else experiencing dissconnect problems with bodog? And what are we going to do about this 40 day payout crap? Does the rapid transfer or what every they call it work well? You know the one where you have to deposit money first via that method, to withdraw money via that method?

Players need to voice their discontent...email/call Bodog...demand action...I'm sick of all the b.s. excuses and I'm clearly not the only one...just read the 50+ pages of posts on this thread alone.....This is not how an online gaming site should treat its players..I thought Bodog tying up 5k of my money was bad, but I see there are players who are waiting for much more money. Either way, the interest collecting on our credit cards is not worth the months of waiting for a simple check. I have friends and family members who play on other sites like Stars and Absolute and they get checks within weeks...Bodog needs to stop with the horse**** excuses and pay us our !@#(!$ MONEY! At this rate it would probably be cheaper to fly out to wherever the **** Bodog keeps their money and get cash.

I had lots of money tied up in checks. Month and a half or so goes by and money is returned to my account with bonus. Neither checks/debit card are allowed in my state apparently anymore. One option for those who still have a click2pay account is moving money from bodog to a click2pay friendly site, playing with it some, then cashing it out. Bodog usually processes these cashouts within the hour for me.

What are u talking about? First of all how can you move money from bodog to a clicktopay friendly site and what is a clicktopay friendly site? And lastly clicktopay does not accept US customers

Ok let's boycott bodog. Let's pick a week and simply not play at bodog. Bodog makes their money off of the poker rate. No players, no rake, no money made for bodog. If we do this they will get the message

You are right, but you could do this plan with EWalletXpress, which does accept US customers.

I requested a payout of $500 on bodog, after hasseling support I finally recieved my check a month and a half later. So i deposit the check in my checking account and a week later I find out the check bounced. WTF? Apparently bodog is writing bad checks so I have to resend them a copy of the check or bank statement and then they can resend me another check. Jesus christ maybe I'll get this one before next year.

I sympathize with you folks, I really do.

But isn't it clear what's going on here? They are having grave difficulties paying people by check. There is little they can do about it, but it appears they are trying. They make up these cockamamie excuses about Greek Easter and July 4 because they are trying to buy time, and they don't want to just come out and say that they are having trouble, and scare their players away.

All of the boycotting, bitching and moaning isn't going to do any good. You either withdraw using one of their other methods (assuming they work), postpone your withdrawals until the situation is fixed, or you switch sites. I doubt very, very much that Bodog is *trying* to screw its players.

I am aware.

Let me spell it out from you.

Withdraw from Bodog to EWalletXpress.

Deposit from EWalletXpress to a different site.

Withdraw from that other site.

Pretty easy.

The only way I have ever deposited onto Bodog is EWalletXpress, and Bodog lets me withdraw with Rapid Transfer. Quick, easy, and no hassle.

This is probably true, yet it doesn't explain why other sites have much quicker turnaround times for check processing. And how confident are we that the situation will be "fixed"?
