I'm making my first deposit via WU so that I am given the option to withdraw via WU immediately. But is the option to withdraw via check always an option, or should I make my second deposit via Visa debit card to get that option?

Not to be sarcastic, the only way you can know is by asking DOJ.

They're being *******s, the point they're trying to make in the most round about and worthless way is that nobody knows what's going to happen in the US poker market. 6 months isn't long though, and I doubt Bovada is going to go down that soon. Probably got another year or two, perhaps even 3 before online poker is in the US strong enough for the sites to pull out or get pushed out. Your question belongs more in the official bovada thread, but it doesn't really matter.

Hard to say when and if they will go down. I didn't expect to see a big DOJ instead of the homescreen on a few poker sites. When it happens, it happens all of a sudden. I don't think there will be any warning signs, although bouncing checks does not exactly give a player a thrill up his leg!

No one will have an answer to your question, but any of the other two Bodog/Bovada threads. This is the payout thread.

So I don't know if anyone has ever done this before but I'm hoping it works. I had two cashouts approved and I called Bovada and told them that since I had two cashouts for checks I wanted one to be by WU (even though I've never deposited by WU). I told the guy I was concerned about depositing multiple foreign checks in a small time frame. He said he understood and I needed to cancel the most recent deposit and request another one via Money Transfer (WU). He also said he can't guarantee it gets approved but it's 60%-70% likely that it gets approved, that number seems really high because there's no way I run this good. But i'm crossing my fingers and hoping I can avoid the bank hassles and get the WU withdrawal approved.

Will update when I receive emails with approval.

I just want this confirmed by someone... when doing a WU withdrawal, does the address on your ID have to match your bovada address, recently moved (different town, same state) and havn't updated my ID.... I have been told that it doesn't matter but I look on the payout page of Bovada and it states...

"The name and address registered to your bovada.lv account must match your photo ID and the location where you will pick up your transfer. If this information is incorrect, please submit an update prior to requesting a payout."

Just wondering if anybody has had an experience with this... thanks

asked customer service at WU same question yesterday. The State has to be correct on your ID for the state your picking it up in I believe.

I often use a passport or a passport card, both of which do not have an address on them. I think the main thing is to have an offical gov. ID and to pick up the funds in the same state to which the funds were sent to.

So Bovada took the money out of my account including the fee for using WU. So I'm assuming I got approved for WU withdrawal. I didn't receive a confirmation email like when I withdrew for a check. Can anyone who has withdrew with WU give me an idea of whether this is approved and what kind of time frame i should expect?

thanks

Does the one free payout per month reset on the 1st of the month or 30 days from last payout.

I.E, I got a check around the 22 of Apr, can I get another one free now?

Yeah, I remember I hit 500 from 25 in 5 days but then lost 175 of my paycheck in a live home game. So I felt like I had to withdraw because of that, so I requested a withdrawal. I woke up the next morning fiending hard, to play poker, and when I logged in all my funds were gone. So I checked my registered email for any update on the matter and the email said my funds were ready for pick up, MTCN number and sender name and all. So in sum, you should expect your money in no more than a few days.

30 days? That seems absurd? Have you contact bovada? If you did, what did they tell you. Seems like wu should be no longer than a week since check only take 2 weeks. Anyways I'll update my status when I hear something from bovada.

Just curious-- is MoneyGram faster than a few days?
