Hi all. I've been reading this forum for a few weeks now as a guest, but just now decided to make an account so I can post and comment.

I'm waiting on two checks from 4/29 of significant value. Since it is now approaching 35 business days, a player-friend of mine recommend I submit an email to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission to let them know about the situation, and see if they can get answers. Here was their response:

The KGC is aware of the Bovada current payment delays. The Commission is working closely with upper Management of Bovada to ensure players are paid as soon as possible. The issues seem to have been caused by a processor problem. The information the KGC has is that this appears to be a logistical problem and not a liquidity one. However the KGC continues to monitor the situation carefully. We have proceeded to contact Management at Bovada concerning your withdrawal and will get back to you as soon as we have any information on the matter.

Honestly, I don't think it will do you any good. They have been running 37 - 40 business days with a few sporadic/random payouts in May that were very quick. Save yourself the time, headache and stress and just count on that time frame.

You should be getting something any day now. My first payout approval was for 4/14 and recd tracking on 6/6. Took the courier company almost a week to deliver. Got the check yesterday and it was gorgeous - very professional looking, hologram - NICE!! Deposited in my bank's ATM with no issues. Recd tracking for a 4/18 approval on Tuesday. Recd the check today but it looked a little hinkey - not a business size check or personal size. Deposited in the ATM and at 5:05 got a call from my bank. "Call us as soon as possible.." well they are sending it to collections which should not alarm anyone - that's just a term used for special handling. They weren't sure if there would be a hold until special handling recd the check but they are going to charge me a fee for this service.

I have one more payout coming from them and I'm done. Maybe they are in the "cross hairs" of DOJ or "shot in the leg" , whatever. It's not my problem and I will not deposit any more cash there.

It is worth the shot. If they are going to pay, I will get paid either way (they won't get screwy with the commission overlooking). There's nothing to lose. It was a 5 minute e-mail which could lead to something positive for other players.

the gaming commission does nothing. None of them do a ****ing thing to protect players.

See: every other poker site that has gone broke.

Hopefully they will. I have not seen any feedback on any forum about returned checks. I always copy the check before I deposit it then call after a couple days to make sure they have cleared.

Bovada payout requested April 17
approved April 18
tracking number received June 11 (I think)
check received DHL out of (too much info, ldo) June 13 late afternoon. Wished they had used a Canadian bank as a check out of S.... looks unusual to say the least.

I have not posted anything on this site as I waited for TWO MONTHS for a check, ridiculous. I have heard every excuse know Easter, Kentucky Derby, etc etc etc. It started at 15 days then 20 then 25 and took 36 business days calendar days almost 60. Hopefully the check is good if not you can bet (lol) that I will post that for sure.
Good luck lay the points OKC again game two.

Has anyone here cashed out using the rapid and/or money transfer option? Sure, it's not free, but I'm not feeling so great about all this waiting for my check (5/10 req, 5/11 app) and I'd like to have it coming in more frequently and without the burden of wondering if the check will clear or not. Has there been any snags for anyone with this withdrawl option? How much longer does it actually take to receive your cash? Thanks.

I requested on 5.10, got approved on 5.11 and nothing still. I called up yesterday, actually, and was given the run-around about how there is a back up and that I should receive my tracking number within a week. If it's true or not, you're guess is as good as mine. Let us know when you get yours, as I'll do the same.

I requested a check on April 28th and I am still waiting. I called today and they said they are still backed up. From what I am seeing on this board some mid April checks have been received so hopefully the late April requests should be coming soon. I will keep you guys posted.

I'm waiting on April 29th. CS says I'll receive it "shortly." So ready for this headache to go away.

Requested 4/26
Approved 4/27
Tracking received 6/12
Check received 6/13

A check I requested on 6/7 was combined with the one from 4/26 which made me really happy, but then when I tried to deposit with the teller at my bank she said she was having trouble running it. Said it had something to do with different routing numbers because it was drawn on a Canadian bank but w/e. I've deposited all my Bodog/vada checks with bank tellers before and never before had a problem. She said the funds should be in my account tomorrow, but she didn't sound too sure and now I'm a little worried. Will update.

Nothing yet in my messages. No Missed Delivery stickers on my door.

FWIW, I am relatively new to Bovada. I have gotten a check each month for the last 8 months. Checks have always been good, and live tellers have never asked a question other than what type of check it is (payroll, personal, etc) Last check (cashout for March 2012) was my first check drawn on a foreign bank. It deposited fine via live teller. No questions, and money was available immediately. I got a call 3 days later from the bank (local credit union) saying I could have the check back, or they could send it through the verification processor for a fee. She said if it came back bounced the funds would be deducted from my acct and I'd be charged a returned check fee. I agreed. Didn't hear a word more about it til last week when I got a letter from my bank showing me the fees for processing a foreign item: $71!! Oh well, at least the check was good.
