hi guys! hoping i can get a little better info here since using the keywords on google for an answer for an hour has yielded unsatisfactory results.

my problem is, although i played bovada back on and off from maybe 2013-2016 or 17. they are asking me to deposit with a cc and my debit card, both cc's and prepaid debit card dont work - they have the options for bitcoin but i get an error when i tried to deposit. csr is no help, and i know most people can deposit bitcoin first deposit no problem...i can't until i use a cc apparently which earns me a frustrating catch 22.

i asked the csr if my account was flagged, i have never done anything sketchy in all my years of playing online poker, which includes on ft and ps pre black friday. never deposited money i don't have, never had more than one account on a site, never cheated. she said i was fine, no flags nothing wrong i just have to use a cc for a deposit first since i hadn't played in a while?

every angle i tried to play to figure out why i'm singled out to not be able to deposit w bitcoin after having downloaded a wallet and loading it up from coinbase didnt get me an answer ofc, the payment division says so and thats that - full stop. she did say the declines were from my end (my banks) and not on their end, so i will try to call my bank tomorrow and ask them to allow me to use my card for international purchases for a day.

anyway has anyone gotten in this situation and resolved it? if so please let me know how, i am getting the itch to play.

ps - i never played wpn and i signed up for an account, was able to deposit my bitcoin and play in under 5 minutes but that site sucks hard! i want to play bovada, any help is appreciated. the only smidgen of decent advice i managed to scrounge up was a couple reddit posts saying send your license and proof of address to verification and hope it opens up bitcoin. so i'll try that too tomorrow, but if anyone has been where i'm at and figured out what to do to get on please let me know.

thanks!

Strange...I assume Bovada would prefer players always deposit/withdraw using BTC. This leads me to believe that you might be having issues with the BTC transfer itself. Just my 2cents

Hey guys.I went back about 20 pages of reading before I decided to ask this question.
I just started playing Ignition again after a long lay off and looking to do my first withdrawal in over a year.
For withdrawals does
Ignition>Blockchain>Bitpay>Bitpay VISA ATM still work?
If not what is the quickest order to withdraw?
This thread is really unwieldly at over 1100 pages so sifting for some of these answers is a challenge.

Bitpay's ATM feature was reinstated several months ago. I used my bitpay card last week for purchases and ATM.

For all of my previous BTC withdrawals, the BTC hit my wallet within a couple minutes of receiving the "withdrawal processed" email from Bovada.

This morning I got the email and 90 minutes later, I haven't received the BTC into my wallet yet. I know the email says it can still take up to 24 hours. But I was curious if anyone has ever had to wait anywhere close to 24 hours. Thanks!

4+ hours and still no BTC in wallet. I guess I'll wait the stated 24 hours then call support. Hoping this isn't out of the ordinary for others.

Looks like I got my withdrawal in the same batch as yours. 4 hours later and mine hasn’t hit my wallet yet

Yep BTC is amazing. I am sure no one cares, at least there is a finite amount of it, meanwhile our central bank "the Fed" is going crazy printing right now. 3 people in America contain 50% of the wealth. Low interest rates help increase the wealth disparity gap even faster and boom we have the biggest inequality gap in human history. Short the bankers, trust in decentralization.

Request 9:30 pm 1/26
Hit blockchain 11:30 1/27
I absolutely love being able to use the Bitpay Visa again!
So easy and convenient.

This is my first time withdrawing in a couple of years so forgive me in advance...

What is the normal time it takes your bitcoin to appear in blockchain after your withdrawal is processed and what is the max it has taken? Is several hours normal?

So I withdrew from bovada after a few good sports bets. It's in my electrum wallet however I believe need an exchange to send it to my bank. Seen negative things about going base and gambling. I'm a bit coinnewb but have coinbase and cash app. Any suggestions for withdrawing from electrum to my bank?

I have used Coinbase. You just have to link your bank account and go through a verification process.

you can open up a GDAX account to help avoid some of the coinbase buying and selling at a premium price

Or just use Coinbase Pro (same login as Coinbase).
