Little concerned with my payout.

It's been a little longer than what others have quoted as delivery times, and also no tracking no as of yet.

I live in an apartment.

If they tried to deliver without my home, and no tracking number, what would happen? I don't have a slot or anything. Unless they taped a note to my door I'd never know.

Requested payment via Visa card on Oct 10. Got an email today that there was a technical issue and it had to be resubmitted and I should receive it in another 7 business days (Nov 4th).

I called to have the $50 fee waived because I'd already used my free payout for the month (sick brag) and initially they refused. I explained that when there was an error on their end before (Apr) they waived the fee and they again told me no. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told he was assisting another customer, so I said I would gladly wait for him. After a few minutes the lady came back and said she spoke with him and that they could not waive the fee. I, again, asked to speak with him and she insisted that he would say the same thing. I said I'd rather just hear it from him and she put me on hold. A couple minutes later the same lady came back and said he'd given her permission to waive the fee, but that this would be the last time that they would do it for me.

To be fair this is the first time I've had a negative experience with Bovada customer service and in the end I did get the $50 waived.

On aside note: Are payouts seeming slower and slower for others or is it just me? I know that's always the first sign...

So just a heads up to everyone - I just made a WU deposit, and they told me that from now on, WU transactions (deposit OR cashout) can only be made once per month. So you have to wait one full month before making a cashout via WU if you deposited that way. And if you want to make another deposit, it has to be a month after that cashout.

Lame.

That only applies to WU btw. Not MG.

WU must be cracking down, I had my payouts cut in half on Bovada and other sites. I don't normally cash out that way so found it kind of weird. I had a few friends who also had that happen which is what lead me to check mine.

To all the people posting pics of the NSpend cards it's probably better if you don't do that as that's one of the best ways for people to deposit and you don't want them to go the way of Green Dot and stop accepting international transactions.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm only given the option to deposit with credit card on the cashier screen. Did they eliminate WU deposits for some people? *I'm in PA.

I still have it available and it says I can deposit once a week. I've maybe deposited w/ it maybe 5 times in the last 2-3 years though.

I recently deposited through VISA and everything went through as normal. Then a couple days later, I see on my card statement, another charge, with a different name that I did not authorize. Anyone have any experience dealing with bovada about their processors charging random things on my card? Bovada is the only time I use my card.

I had a random $1.30 charge once and contacted my bank and reported it as fraud. They refunded it and gave me the info on it and it was from China. The only foreign transaction I've ever done was my deposit to Bovada so I assumed it was linked in some way because it showed up in a similar format to how my deposit showed on my statement. I called Bovada and they denied it was in any way related but I was skeptical so I closed the account and reopened a new one. Obviously, the $1.30 wasn't an issue it was the fact that someone/some company was able to randomly charge my account out of the blue.

I'm pretty paranoid about that kind of thing and wear a tinfoil helmet so take it for what it's worth.

This has happened to many of us within the last year. It certainly is related to depositing on Bovada.
NSPEND VISA Gift Cards people. Safest and easiest way to depo. Available at any CVS.

Are they only doing checks from the east now?

I was wondering what was taking so long for my check cashout. Been 9 days now.

On the plus side, I think you can deposit eastern checks via mobile phone.

yup. this happens EVERY YEAR after NFL gets going....cashout volume increases and waiting times increase slightly. we aren't talking about LOCK or something. waiting 12 days for a check from inside the US is secretly fistpump material for a lot of us.

go look through this thread back in October of 2013, 2012 etc and you will see the same thing.....noobs freaking out because their particular cashout took a few days extra, maybe a week longer than expected and now the sky is falling and Bovada is getting DOJed!

fear mongering idiots...stop posting in Bovada payout thread and go back to watching your beloved FoxNews; where ebola/ISIS/Obama are sure signs of an apocalypse which can only be diverted by lowered taxes!

that might be true, I don't know, but of at least 10/13 they are still telling people in confirmation emails that:

Please note that it may take an average of 7 business days
before you receive your
payment.

Sincerely,
bovada.lv Payouts Team

not sure what the correct interpretation of "it may take an average of" should be. probably some deliberately tricky wording.

For five figure withdrawals, do you guys recommend multiple checks or 2-3 wires? Pros and Cons of both? I read back about 30-40 pages but wanted your opinions. Thanks

bank wires all the way. you pay a little more (depending on the currency market) but you get the peace of mind of not having to catch the check delivery or a check bouncing (which is rare for bovada but it happens) its very convenient
