Bovada recently changed their hand histories for cash games to view only the last few recent hands. Was this a bug in their software or was it intentional and it's here to stay?

yeah from the beats ive taken repeatedly to the face over the past 2 hours i will not be playing on this site again. too much for me to consider coincidental. the fact that the players are anonymous makes it all that much easier to hide if this was the case. count me out.

It's a bug. It was fixed a while back and then re-introduced with the graphical hand history update. It's been reported. But, it took them over a year to fix it the last time so don't expect much.

The graphical hand history feature is god awful. To Bovada: please fix my damn hand history! Looking back at hands is important, for anonymous sites especially!

I'm an American and have been VPNing from a German IP so I can play other sites. Bovada sent me an email this morning telling me that they have disabled my account because of activity from locations that don't match my account info. Apparently I need to call them to try and get it re-enabled.

Anybody dealt with this? I didn't realize it was an issue but I guess American accounts aren't supposed to log in from abroad. Just wondering what to expect and what my best cover story is (possibly just the truth?).

Well you could be honest and tell them you vpn to multi-site. Or you could argue u use a vpn for legit purposes, like accessing a movie/streaming site not available in the US. Plus some people vpn purely for internet anonymity purposes.

Do pre-paid Visas work for deposit?

Hello fellow Bovada players,

I have been grinding tournaments on Bovada for the three weeks or so. I have ran up a $100 deposit to a maximum of $1540, but due to the current downswing is now just under $1k (yikes). I play all the nightly "value" tourneys (Guarantee$ ≥ BI*200) under $11 currently. I play an average of 12-14 tourneys per night and am very selective as they do not offer a vast amount of "value" tournaments. I record all tournaments in excel to keep up with things like ROI etc.

I am curious to meet fellow Bovada players and to discuss wide ranges of topics revolving around poker on this website.

I'm going to try to start posting semi-frequently on here with interesting hands that come up and perhaps nightly summaries.

german isp guy is funnier than the brain surgeons who can't figure out how to deposit a check or don't know what to say when the teller asks them where they got it.

In the Tournament Poker section of the forum there is a MTT Community and strategy sections that would be a great place to post and discuss hands or discuss the evenings tournaments.

This thread is more designed to discuss more general Bovada issues as apposed to personal issues that dont really pertain to the rest of the player pool in any way fwiw.
