Definitely putting me off now. Sigh.

Ya I check in on this thread every few weeks or month, and seemed like things have turned around a lot compared the train wreck of the switch lol.

Was just kinda bummed to see a few people complain about it so wasn't sure what to make of it.

I'll still probably deposit and check things out.

Hey all,

Wanted to share a pretty poor experience I had with Ignition Customer Support regarding disconnects. If you play Iggy/ Bovada a lot, you are probably aware that the software isn't Stars and an occasional disconnect on their end happens. Usually they try to pretend it's your internet first, make you jump through a couple hoops, and then they give you a tournament ticket if you give them your game IDs and point out your playing style isn't to instantly fold every single hand. It's a fun little 1 day dance where your hourly isn't great, but you are in it for the love of the game.

Yesterday I disconnected from 3 jackpots, 2 were heads up chip lead (). Internet is working, close client, log back in. Asks if I want to rejoin my tables. That's exactly what I want to do, so I click yes. 3 tables pop up, load to 99% each and freeze.
Don't know if Gyazo works here but this is what it looked it:
https://gyazo.com/6d687756c18817fa5f41f111843e55ba

So I take that screen shot and immediately email Ignition Customer Service from my computer (with working internet). They give me a number and tell me to call. Got a phone number on Saturday for the first time in years....nice. So I call them and get the most irritating customer service representative of all time. Long story short, she said she found ONE of my games because of the "timeframe" I gave her for the disconnects, and offered 1 tournament ticket. At that point I reminded her I was 3 tabling like a boss. She told me she couldn't find the other two because I played too many games that day. I told her to look in that same "timeframe" to which she replied she can't look up games by time......

With this infinite loop blowing my mind, I decided I needed to find the games in my play log and shoot them an email. So I found the games, took a screen shot, and sent it to them. Figure you guys don't need to see that one.

The response I got back was essentially them telling me I was only playing 1 game, refunding me for said game, then explaining to me how to unplug my modem and plug it back it. Come on, we've all seen South Park.....

I think the solution is to start recording your screen while disconnects are happening and pull up Netflix. That way you can show them how many games you are playing plus how wicked fast your internet is. And Ignition, tsk tsk.....I thought we were friends.

Just open a ignition account. Just curious that anyone had/has problem with their bonus? It seems that it is impossible to collect the bonus playing poker.

I tried to forfeit the bonus, but the site says that that will give up all my winnings. It seems that Ignition let you use the bonus money first, which means that all the winnings are from the bonus money. SO you have to finish collecting all bonus money before you can cash out. What a bully silly bonus system.

*

After reading the posts, I would say that the Ignition bonus system is the worst in the Market. No one, not even those work for Ignition knows how it works. What is the freaking point to make life miserable with a miserable silly useless bonus system?

I will consider quitting Ignition just because of that.

Hi, playing 2 zone games at a time, I'm getting only 435 hands per hour. Assuming I'm making decisions as fast as possible, what can I do to increase this rate? My internet download speed is 18.2mbps. For players getting in more hands, are you using software like StacknTile to make bet sizing, etc. faster?

Has anyone else had a wire transfer cancelled due to an invalid account number? I've received wires in the past and haven't changed my account number so don't know why this would be. Canadian, bank at TD.

I'm having trouble making my first deposit as a US user. My cards are declined with the message "your deposit attempt was declined" and no other reason. When I called Ignition support they weren't sure on the reason but said it was possible my bank blocked it. I called my bank, but they said international transactions are enabled and they don't see any failed transactions.

Ignition also has a new policy on Bitcoin. You must already have a financial history with them for Bitcoin to be enabled. So for new users like me, Bitcoin can't be selected as a payment option. Support says it is their policy and they can't do anything about it. It doesn't make any sense though. I'm out of options. Has anyone else been in this situation? I wonder if I should try a prepaid card.

ok, so it's not just me.

read that the 4 legal online poker states are combining pools before the M.E. this year.

things are happening. ignition, carbon, etc. will be nothing but an after-thought soon for US players. it won't be pre-BF days but at least the consumer will be back in the driver's seat.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Without many more states onboard the unregulated sites will remain the destination of choice for the vast majority of online poker players in the US for at least the next 5 years. Possibly much longer.

It will be 2020 before that number has a chance of reaching 5, and probably 2040 before all 50 states. There's too much money in keeping online poker illegal.
