So basically Bovada took a smooth running poker application with minimal down time. Switched it over to function like their mobile site which caused massive lag and a high performance gaming PC to run a basic poker app and made it very vulnerable to disconnects.

Good job Bovada...**high five**

Larry----"Hey I tried that Bovada poker mobile on my cell phone and it sure was fun we should make the regular website just like that"

George head of Bovada
---"Hey Larry thats a great idearrrr you are so smart"

*programmers change site*

Larry---"Golly George thanks for taking my idearrr up. This site functions pretty decent on my alienware laptop, it lags a little but our 2 programmers in Iraq will fix errrrything.

*site malfunctions for 7 months with massive disconnects and horrible lag*

George head of Bovada----"We need to focus on customer service this is bullsh-it, tell customer care to create more auto response prompts we are losing all our customers"

glad I didn't play today.. I have one final do-or-die deposit left, I want at least a chance to build a bankroll without bovada going down, focus dies, bankroll dies.

they really need to start immediately suspending the tournaments when it goes down. like are they even aware some people are still connected and playing in the tourneys? it's absurd. also seems a little too random to keep happening at the same time night after night.

When does Bovada refund people that were disconnected in the middle of a tourney? Do you have to call, email, etc or else you are ****ed?

LOL When will you fishsticks learn. The only way this will get handled correctly, and in a timely manner, is when they start losing tons of traffic.

Look, I'm a Bovada reg, I love Bovada poker, but lets be real, what incentive do they have when everyone just continues to play through all the bull****. Is it really that much to ask for all those having problems to play on another site for a week? I get that some of you do this full time, but it would still be in your best interest to send them a message, otherwise expect this to continue for a long time.

Hell, think about this.......they never even fixed the lag issue. We, the poker community, just found a way around it. You want changes, give them some incentive to make those changes.

Anybody get a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" error yet? Got this after the "check your connection" message this time. "Runtime Error!" Program: C:\Bovada\Lobbr.exe R6025 - pure virtual function call"

Congrats on having moved up, miss your thread's updates.

Has Omaha indicator stopped working for anyone else? It launches fine and pins to below the tables properly but gives no stats on the tables. I ran the updates, restarted my computer, etc but no change. Did their update kill huds or is it my end?

It was. I believe they pulled out of UK and some other European countries in 2012, and then Australia, New Zealand, and a few other European countries in 2014, leaving them in just 4 countries.

Can anyone who's activated the Bitcoin reload clarify the clearing requirement?

On the website it says:

20% Match up to $100 on BitCoin Deposits - Rollover Requirements: 5X Sports/ 25X Casino/ 10X Poker Points per Bonus Dollar

Which leads me to believe it's 1000 poker points to clear it and not 6000.

I will take advantage of the bonus if it's only 1000 to clear, but probably won't bother if it's 6000.

You can always activate the bonus, play for a while, and if you want to cashout while still clearing, you can cancel the bonus and not lose any progress/gain any progress.

Just finished chatting with Bodog customer support (I'm in China). She confirmed that they are entirely unaware of any problems involving the poker software.

In case I do encounter a problem, however, I should make sure and update my browser to the latest version of IE.

just got off the phone with them. They issued refunds in the affected tournaments . They said people were calling them trying to get refunds when they were not affected so they have to look at the logs. They looked at the logs and refunded me properly . They realize there is a big problem and are trying to fix it . I'm going to take a few weeks off and hope they fix it by then.
