Another time I got a reply saying I can play and all my withdrawal options will remain and just my deposit options will be blocked.

I'm moving to New York in July and I'm beginning to wonder if I should just withdrawal my entire roll if I can't continue playing in New York like nothing has changed.

Does anyone have any insight on this? From what I've heard from other players in New York I just won't be able to deposit anymore, which I can live with.

Try contacting them here. You may be able to get a better answer but I don't guarantee though.

Last week I was in New York visiting a friend. Logged into my poker client to see the particulars of the bitcoin deposit. Did not sit at any tables or played any games. Did not try depositing or withdrawing.

Today I got an email to call them. They told me that New York is restricted. Just logging in is a violation of their TOS. This served as my first and only warning. Any subsequent violation will result in my account getting locked and possibly losing my account and funds.

She also mentioned a number of other states which will result in a violation. Passing this along so others can be aware of the situation

when my account was temporarily suspended they question me about logging in from Nevada. told them I was on a road trip and played while in Vegas. I was then told I shouldn't log in from NV or NY anymore, they didn't elaborate on what the repercussions were if I did.

Good to know.

A couple of weeks ago, I logged on to Bovada a couple of times when I was in Vegas, mostly just to check my balance as I had made some Sports/Derby bets.

Bovada has not contacted me about logging in, but from now on I'm not even going to take a chance whilst in the Silver State..

If you just contact them prior to playing in Vegas they will allow it for the time you say you will be there for. I have done it many times. Just call and get approval.

I'm admittedly ignorant to the intricacies of this yet I wonder why they let old accounts from New York play and withdraw but not deposit with BTC. I'm also confused why BTC doesn't allow them to open up to every state but at least not playing and not depositing is consistent.

Started playing on Bovada around Christmas. I've had great success, up over 15k net. But tonight i finally took down my first tourney, after 8 second place finishes, I shipped the 5k $10 10,000 stack turbo! I know that none of you care, lol, but its 2 in the morning and I've got no one else to brag to, other than the wife, who was none too pleased that I woke her up.

they temp suspended me while they did an identity verification, not for playing in NV. I called support and was able to speak to the person handling my account. One of his questions was along the lines of "Can you list every state you have logged on from this year", after listing NV, he stopped me and said not to log in from NV or NY again. He didn't elaborate and just went on with his other questions.

Any poker deposit bonuses currently?

@ByronSiren

You just missed one which gave out 50% cash instantly on all bitcoin deposits. It needs to be cleared but it was still an amazing bonus. Bovada very rarely runs poker bonuses and if they do it's a 10% one around Black Friday(the shopping one).

I'll click an action (Bet, raise, fold, call) and I see my timer drop 10 seconds before the client responds.

I keep getting "partially disconnected" from the server.

I know it's not on my end... I've already restarted my computer and router.

You?
