What the hell is up with this software. Having 2 tables working perfectly fine (albeit standardly slow) while watching myself literally blind off "sitting out" at another table. No matter how soft the games are i cant beat the disconnect rake...

R there any bovada people that look at this forum ffs ? enjoy losing my 150 $ in rake a day until this **** gets figured out

Had another weird thing that worked in my favor today...it dealt me three hands before I paid a big blind. They were all trash hands, but still, it was an odd benefit before locking out 53 hands later.

That is included.
So there is 2 + 5 + 5 = 12 in the pot

So...
5 + 12 = 17
The pot button should show 17.
I could be wrong but it seems like in cash games they take out rake but the pot button is calculated as if no rake has been taken out. In small pots it's off by fractions of a blind but on later streets it can be a couple blinds larger that what is shown for pot size. I'd imagine tournament chips would be exact.

Yep. Pressing the pot button will bet 105% pot. Preflop, the rake hasn't been dropped yet so it should be exact (it is always exact in tourneys)

Listen everyone, as frustrating and as inexcusable as this whole thing has been, remember, never call and complain to the supervisors. We don't need to be harassing them. Just sit quietly and continue to lose money and trust that they will get it handled sometime this year.

That's not how it works, that's not how any of this works.

New development: Anyone getting a disconnect or screen freeze after looking up the previous hand? For me, it's getting to the point where I have to consider that an operational risk and weigh the benefit of gaining that knowledge against the 30% chance I get ripped out of the next hand.

theres an mtt guy... who does that on a different site... and it actually works pretty good for him.. had a great scope graph.. crazy high itm for mtt guy... sits last minute and just rips it a few times.. but the tourney structure on the other site is better for it

boavda and wpn are structured to where this wouldnt work as well

I was using another computer with a total **** processor and this happened constantly. Since reverting back to a beefy processor, it's never happened.

I was too tired to play, but I will say that the hands I did play were almost unbearably choppy and I've had almost no issues or complaints about the software since the switch.

If anyone is still having lag issues, I recommend the google DNS trick mentioned earlier in this thread. Past two days grinding 4 - 6 tables has been smooth.

I have noticed, however, that the Bovada program seems to be using more CPU and memory usage compared to preupdate. Some people's lag issue could be resovled by not having anything else running on their comp. Sorry if that's a captain obvious statement.

Used to be, if you clicked on the "view last hand" on a table while also hovering over the blackjack button (they overlap), there was a very high chance of crashing. No idea if that's still the case, because I still make sure I'm never hovering over the blackjack button when I click.

What Google DNS trick are you talking about? I'm curious to here about any little thing that could possibly help.

I haven't had a table stop at 97% for a while now, haven't dc'ed either. I'm kinda liking it better now, i'm making more money (bc more hands per hour and the software is apparently tilting everyone else). I hated it at first but i can't really complain now. Strange how a few of us have no issues whatsoever while most of you guys seem to be getting ****ed over daily...

I don't have a great computer, I guess i'm just lucky to have such a good connection to their servers.

Do any of you guys have hard numbers handy of your hands per hour pre and post update now that most of us have a decent sample size since the update? I'm not at my workstation now, I`ll have to check my database tomorrow if I remember.

I play zone so you may or may not find this to be of use, but i'm getting 203.4 per hr per table post-update after 36.9k hands. I'm working with a new db for 2016 so I only have 8 days of pre-update hands to compare but it was 166 over that sample.

I checked my database last week and it's pretty much the same as before, maybe because the software is lagging and some people take more time to act. But it's true that the hands are dealt quicker.

After the update I still have that old table layout, I noticed some people on twitch have a different looking table, like with the leather outline, mine still looks like the old style...anyone else in the same boat as me?

im still getting lag and a couple re-connection issues, but it always reconnects within seconds and the lag isnt AS bad....not as bad as it was, but still extremely annoying...not bad enough to keep me from playing

this isn't isolated to just me and one or two friends...literally everyone I know that has crushed MTTs for years(even post-BF) is suddenly getting anal raped daily $11 and $22 MTTs?? we aren't talking about bad beats, or questionable calls here.

I am not gonna lie, I have grown very suspect of the play on Bovada...and after reviewing full HHs(in an attempt to try and improve and get better) I am even more suspicious that some form of cheating or collusion is occurring.

I don't want to go into specifics for fear of making it easier for potential cheaters to get away with it....but the evidence is mounting.

sure, between myself and a few poker buddies we won't have a big enough sample size to prove anything...but maybe with a couple dozen people's data we would have something to at least be taken seriously.

i'm really disappointed because I realize that Bovada is the last option for US players and at this point, I'm ready to move on. the ****ty software update may just be the nail in the coffin.
I only play MTT's, have since 04. When BF happened, my OPR on Stars was 99.7. At one
point (prob at their peak in volume, 2013-2014) my OPR on Carbon was upper 99%. I've dedicated all my action to Bovada over the past year. With a lot of volume, giving me a reasonable sample, I'm stuck about 6 grand. I'm fully aware that the game evolves... When I see how bad a lot of players are playing and figure in my experience and TAG play, I can't believe these factors add up to that kind of loss....

How exactly does that work? The less people that know what to look for, the less likely they are to get away with it? Even on the off-chance that they read 2p2 (would you spend time here if you were a superuser and could see everyone's cards?), wouldn't it be the case that the more people know about it, the better (for normal players)? You say you want/need more evidence from other players -- wouldn't the easiest way to get it be letting others know where to look?

FYI, you adding a "hint" a few posts later only makes you look like a troll. Not trying to be patronizing here, just letting you know how it looks.
