But yeah 5% is still too much. Skrill are 1.99% which I think is high but I find it acceptable.

So do I lose 5% on cashouts aswell?
Yes, you definitely lose it on cashouts as well. Very frustrating for me because my MB is CAN and there's no way to change it.

Sure we know MB will charge you 1.99% but do 888 charge aswell? If they do we are looking at 7% to cashout.

I can accept 1.99%. When I cashout from Ongame from $$$ to £££ I get charged that so I'm used to it and accept it.

if you are VIP with MB you can request that they shut down your old account so you can open a new one in a new currency

The problem is that CAN in not an option with 888, and you can't change your account currently with Moneybookers.

I was not aware of this being possible.

Could anyone confirm?

If I email MB and I am succesful in getting them to change my account to $$$ when I cashout to my £££ bank who then charges the currency exchange fees? Moneybookers or my bank?

Obviously I would prefer the bank as their fees would be lower.

FWIW I thought about this in 2011 and was told by MB that this would be no problem at all...even without VIP.

You have to email them again once you have your new account, and tell them to change your cashout currency to $$$, otherwise it will automatically convert it for you (and charge).

Here's a strange one. I've seen people saying the software is buggy, but guess this is my first experience.

Was playing a cash game 20nl hand and had bet 2 streets ip into a fish who wasn't folding. Fish checked the river and before i could do anything the 'software' just automatically min-bet $0.2 into like an $8.50 pot!

I mean, how weird is that?! I didn't even have chance to go anywhere near my mouse, and why would I make a bet like that against a fish knowing I'm ahead?!

888repif you're reading this I've sent an email through support and would appreciate it if you'd take a look. Hand occurred at 20:50:06 GMT.

Thanks

Looks like you were doing something with another window and pressed enter just after your table had stolen the focus, hence the minbet. Setting focus on chat and unchecking table pop ups in the options should fix that.

Has anyone requested a cheque as their first ever withdrawal? If so how long did it take?

It's been a week and the withdrawal is still "In Process".

888Rep:

Is there any way to request my 2012 Tournament Hand History and Summaries?

On Stars I can easily request a series of e-mails including all that data.

Thanks.

Summaries yes. Hand histories, unfortunately no.

Cheques can take up to 30 days to arrive.

The In Process will usually take 3 "business" days.

Koxx's explanation below is more than likely what happened, and how to fix it from happening again.

You can change the setting in the Lobby > Settings > pop up tables check box

It's been a week (requested it Feb 27th) . I sent an email to support with all my info but just wondering if there's a common situation that comes up with first time withdrawals or recent delays due to high traffic of withdrawals or anything like that

When I try to DL/install 888 it gets some portion of the way through and aborts.

This is what it says:

Some poorly designed forms don't allow all characters. Try to replace "/" with something else.

Deposited via Skrill a day or 2 later, and I was able to withdraw to Skrill this week, showing up in my Skrill account today.
