I have been on the fence whether I was going to make an account and deposit or not. It's not a hard choice if 888 isn't doing anything about the bots. Listen to your regulars and start banning them. Communicate with your customers too, leaving them in the dark isn't a good move on 888's part...

is there anything i can do to speed this up. I've been waiting on this to be implemented for over a year now. it's messing me up, i'm losing too much money on the site because of not having it. give me an email address, me posting here isn't doing anything.

What is you agenda, you live in Thailand and make a living playing poker yourself ? Are you afraid that 888 will lose the recreational players because of all the bots ? All the fish will just disappear and play somewhere else? I don't think so.

Yes this is the risk.

Not sure how my location matters but I live in Finland and I make my living from online poker.

My agenda is to help sites make sure online poker is played by humans, not computers.

I don't think recreational players will just disappear as they might not even notice they aren't playing a computer. That's why it should be a priority for any site to make sure all players are humans.

And it doesn't even matter whether recreational players would leave. That's not an argument for not busting bots. I hope you were not trying to suggest that.

Just being a good and decent person trying to stop bots from playing isn't good enough for you?

I don't play on 888 myself, but my son does, under the name of "dsheehannn".
He is definitely a rec as he has better things to do generally at the age of 20.

Anyway, he deposited $20 about 3 week ago. After playing micro stakes he qualified for $55 PL Omaha8 tourney on Saturday 16th January.
He played this tourney and binked it for roughly around $1K.

The next day he makes his first cashout request for $1K. After 3 days the cashout was reversed and reapplied to his poker balance. THE REVERSAL WAS NOT DONE BY DSHEEHANNN. He has requested the same cashout a further 2 times and the same thing has happened.

He has contacted live chat in the cashier section of the client and was told he must of cancelled the cashout which he hasn't. HE HAS NOT CANCELLED THE CASHOUTS.

The latest one was reversed today and the funds are still available for him to spend on 888 but not withdraw.

We would be very grateful for an answer regarding this from a 888 rep.
Also interested to find how common this is at 888 as I have been seriously considering moving some of my play there and am now a bit reluctantas Stars have always paid me promptly except during an enhanced security check which I passed.

At 888 everything is shrouded in secrecy.

Well you could have used a separate thread for this, I'm pretty sure the 888 rep in here is fed up about your constant whining about bots. Online players contribute to the rake anyway and I couldn't care less if they are humans, rabbits or snakes. As long as 888 can offer us more promotions than anyone else I'm happy .
