I have check marked it, and it still shows my balance in the lobby, and its really hard to not look at it during my sess.

Well, my string of e-mails seems to have found its way to someone who actually understands English and customer service in general. Maybe because of my posting in this thread?

Unexpectedly, I just received the following mail from 888:

I played lots in 888.com and PAcific like 3-4 years ago. Then i gad enough and changed my homesite to Pokerstars.

Now i deposited and im looking for a little action...but jeeezhhhh....site and software is as buggy as in 2008-2009.

Cmon....u cant be serious ?
I think medium IT students and programmers can programm better software with fewer buggs.

Because they know they have about 5 days to stop you!

This is a gripe of mine btw, 5 days withdrawal to moneybookers, really?? That is the longest by far of all the sites, stars and Fulltilt are instant and iPoker is 2-3 days, why does it take 888 so long?

A major reason the site is so fishy compared to PS/FTP/Ipoker is because of the delay in withdrawl along with the reverse cashout option.. If you want to play with the rec players, then you have to accept some things are going to be different.

After a series of emailing back and forth with 888 Poker Support, as well as management, they refuse to send me any hand histories and claim they simply can't.

I needed to request some since I am backed for some games and had a few disconnections recently so my 888 software did not store them properly.

I repeatedly got an Excel spreadsheet from them showing balance changes in my account, and had to repeatedly explain to them that this was not what a "hand history" was, and showed them examples.

Anyone else find this absurd? How do they protect against collusion?

However, what I was trying to explain is that we don't store hand histories in the way you show in your examples and that you already have been provided with the excel files with your game history for the timeframe requested by you.

If there is any particular hand or issue you wish to have discussed I'll be happy to assist you as we can review each hand ourselves but when we export to our members the data is displayed in the format you had previously received.

They claim they sent me in a different "format" but it's simply not true. I didn't receive any sort of hand history, only transaction history. I even tried importing the file to HM2 just in case and of course it didn't work.
