There has been a lot of upgrades since 2012 so maybe reinstall the latest version from our home page.
Also have you checked out the settings in the client where you have the ability to change some of the settings to customize things for your own playing experience.

U must be living under a rock or something. They introduced their new, horrible software 2 years ago and partys software is even worse.

Pretty sure I have the latest version. There are regular forced updates which you can't opt out of as far as I am aware.

At least we agree that the 888 software is horrible. The rep is saying they hardly ever get any complaints about it. Maybe if more players complain they might take notice.

Nope. Players simply understood, that 888 don't give a **** about complains and stopped . How otherwise You could explain, that that bugs like disappearing notes and changing labels, seating bug have not been fixed for years .

Just as they stopped complaining, they also started and continued to stop playing there. This should be obv even to the most blind 888 rep if they look (pun intended) at the global numbers in terms of volume.

There were many complaints about the change and if you read back in this thread you will see them. The reason you don't see complaints recently is players gave up on it because 888 refused to change back and people decided to stop playing rather than post complaints.

I am one of them that left when it became apparent that 888 would not improve and it seems like many others left too since traffic on 888 plummeted since the change. The change in style of software, the notes issue and an issue with anti-viruses flagging 888 as a threat have not been resolved despite been raised years ago.

Btw I cannot even access the 888 client even if I want to because of the anti-virus issue which cannot be bypassed by excluding 888. The only way to do it would be to disable my anti-virus while on 888 which would be stupidity.

The antivirus problem u have depends on the anti virus software u use. I normally only had to disable it while updating 888 and since a few months i dont have any issue with it anymore.

I use Mcafee Total Protection. It seems to revolve around a specific file called vcruntime140.dll and only happened after an 888 update.

Now that several players have complained about the software we get crickets from the 888 rep.

888 rep could you do your job and address these legitimate complaints please?

Hey guys. Don't really wanna ruin your hopes but i've watched this movie many times before. Players complain about issues --> get redirected to 888support --> 888support does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to fix anything --> players get tired of complaining and either stop playing at 888 or learn to deal with the issues. Then a new batch of players start complaining and the cycle starts again.

I'm playing around 10-20% of my poker on 888 since around 2012. Today's issues were present back then when this new version of the platform was launched. They haven't been fixed in YEARS. Either 888support team is useless or the platform was built in a horrendous way from the beginning and now they can't do anything to fix it. I can't even remember about a single issue that was fixed in the past years. So... sorry to disappoint you but complaining here is just a waste of your time and energy.

Add to that the scam that is 888's bonus policy (unheard of in the history of online poker) that is literally fooling people into depositing for bonus $, only to find out afterwards that the bonus can't be cleared and it's either lost at the first withdrawal or gone after 60 days.

I will never be able to understand how a poker platform can internally sabotage itself in this manner.

P.s. 888rep, you replying to someone that you rarely get complaints about your platform is a pure lie. There's over 1k pages in this thread of people complaining about the same issues over and over again.

As you can see by these two posts people have different opinions so it is not easy to keep everyone happy.
What I suggest is that you list everything that you dislike about the software and I will do my job and send it over to the team for their future updates consideration.

Wut? We both think the software is horrible.

My suggestion would be bring back option to see players at cash table without opening it, let us see plr/flp %. On old software I could see all players, labels and notes for each specific player once I clicked on the label.
Bug with opening table to view players at table - sometimes I got offered seat (seat is reserved) and Buy-in window pops up, most of the time not. I would prefer latter , so I could choose myself , where to sit.
On snap tab I would like to see full player list in pool, and a least plr/flop % stat for pool .
Replayer button is annoying. Once You hoover mouse over it, preview pops up , and I can't double click to open full replayer.
O would like to see hero pod same as others, saves space and gives option to sit elsewhere, not on only bottom box.
And improve overall software stability , it crashes regularly, after crash almost always notes file is corrupted , notes and labels are gone.

Old 888 software was way ligther and better, the New software is much worse by a far margin. 888 is just going down The same path as PokerStars which just is getting worse and worse with each and every update over time, while other sites are taking over with really good software like Ggpoker for example and winamax that has a great software too. Even coinpoker which was launched not far ago has a much better software, also miss the old fulltilt which 10 years ago had a better lobby and tables than 888. I like 888 tournaments, schedule and stuff and tell that tô my friends but unfortunately The software is not good, I wish it was better.

Well, actually the list of bugs is quite big and there are also several issues that reduce the gaming experience on 888, despite not being bugs. Never written it, because it normally brings nothing, but since 888rep is suggesting to forward our feedback, I'll give it a try.

Software Bugs:
PC
- crashing (the more tables you open the more often it crashes)
- corrupting notes file (often after crash, sometimes without any crash)
- Only one popup at time, for instance you can't start any sng/tournament nor rebuy without closing another popup (for instance "you won XX dollars" or so) because the confirmation popup isn't able to appear. I aready missed some tournaments and couldn't rebuy in others because of this issue.
- Blast leaderboards updating with 15-20 minutes delay in the evening
- larger delays while moving through "my account" in the evening (for instance clicking on "my club" or "my rewards" requires 10 seconds sometimes)
- delay between the end of the counter "late registration available for" and the exact end of the late registration. It is currently 2-5 seconds depending on the tournament.
- high need of GPU resources (the first table opened loads my GPU for 30%!), it might even have something to do with software crashes
- background processes starting when you start a software. They do not appear to be mandatory but still start every time and are the reason why you can't start the software, close it and the start it again immediately.
- around 5% of blast games start without showing chip counts. Chip counts are first visible after you close and reopen the table
- hitboxes to take a note and to throw (egg, tomato etc) are very small

Android
- being in a tournament lobby of a satellite you can't see another satellites to the parent tournament (when you click on the parent tournament and open its lobby, satellites tab is missing since few months)
- moving folding button on android, when its your turn
- same delay between the end of the counter "late registration available for" and the exact end of the late registration like on pc. Here even worse because tournament becomes invisible in the lobby few seconds before the late registration ends

Please get rid of:
PC
- tournament lobby not accessable with 1 click from the table
- colour notes. We need our anymals (fish, donkey etc) back! What is the reason for offering it on android and disabling on PC?
- not letting switch to chip counts in bb in the replayer
- chips in the pot sometimes hovering over the board cards in the simplified mode (the placement of the pot varies on the vertical axis from hand to hand which makes no sence)
- not showing players left to money in the simplified mode
- not showing chat button in the simplified mode
- high row height of the single tournaments in the lobby. Ideally let user change it the same way it can change column width
- "tournament starts in xx minutes" // "runs for xx minutes" in the lobby. Please give player at least a possibility to see normal starting time
- sticky tournaments on top of the lobby
- multi-table preference "tile" letting tables hover each other with 3-4 tables opened

Android
- the missing information of the rebuy time of future tournaments and the average stack of running tounrmants
- not sorting players for descending chip count in the tournament lobby on android
