I got an 888 poker "reward" survey today and decided to give it a shot. I usually never do these surveys but I really wanted to give them a piece of my mind.
However I was pleasantly surprised that there were like only 4 questions on the survey and they all just ask me what I wanted as gifts. There was also a question on what benefits I would like and also a section for suggestions and improvements.

Anyone else get this email? We all need to flood the survey and tell them how annoying that waiting list bug is. It literally puts me in fits of rage. How many times have I finally been able to get onto a table Ithat I wanted but because of the stupid 6 table limit cap, I have to close one of my tables in order to get a seat. Only to get there and you can't sit down and I can't get back to my original table! It's actually unreal how much money this has costed 888poker over the years in rake. It's mind boggling.

Withdrew from 888 4 or so days ago, says it's paid, I calculated the exchange rate and I would get around Ł375~ they say it's only worth Ł359, now I know it's only Ł15 but still it's theft and people should be aware of this joke of a site, I checked the exchange rate and for me to get back Ł359 the exchange rate would have to be at 1.67

As you can see the exchange rate over the week has been nowhere near 1.67 so they can't justify their rates, can anyone suggest any advice what I can do to maybe get the remaining cash back? I know it's not much but still it's wrong how a big site like that steals from you... I'm about to talk to online help but I'm sure they will be no help at all.

Dodevu

You have no chance of getting any money back, unfortunately. Cassava use a huge margin on exchange rates. They claim this is to protect from fluctuations, but it is obv to make money from exchanging cash.

The best way round this is to deposit in dollars and request withdrawals in dollars if you have a Moneybookers account. Moneybookers uses much tighter exchange rates.

Hope this helps. I have lost money in the past before I looked into this and I know how frustrating it is.

Thanks for info, no I haven't got a moneybookers account don't want to go through all that just to get standard exchange rate haha, oh well last time I play on that site.

I would like to know why all 6max standard speed (7 minutes) SnG's have a top 3 payout structure, with the exception of the 22$ level where only the top 2 are paid? There still are some adjustments you have to make because of the payouts, and while multitabling this is just not very fun at all.

888rep can you forward this issue to 888 and let them have it fixed?

I've never noticed any problems like that. I've run my 888 client for days, even weeks without closing it.

On issue one maybe you have picked up a bug because I haven't heard of that happening to anyone else.

If rake is calculated as a percentage of the pot, surely your paying the same rate regardless of the currency.

I think he means when the rake on a pot reaches its maximum. Say, $3 max is less than Ł3 max or E3 max.

I think offering open face chinese poker at 888 is good to expand your player base in Asia.

Please look into this as this game is becoming really big but I dont think Pokerstars is offering this game online.

not sure if this is a bug or they do it on purpose. Very annoying either way.

I made my first deposit and withdrawal a few days ago it was really weird to not get a confirmation email. The only way to check was via the cashier and then you would get this huge popup, trying to force you to reverse your withdrawal.

I would like to get a confirmation email just confirming that I requested a withdrawal in addition to the confirmation once it has been processed.

I also don't understand why they split up withdrawals. Is this common on 888? Never had it happen on any other site. Here I withdrew 1 amount and I got a confirmation for 2 withdrawals with random amounts (sum equals the amount I requested).

Exchange rate are really vvvbad. I wish I would have read the moneybookers tip earlier. Will deffo change to that for my next withdrawal.

I don't know why I am worrying about wanting $3 back for a tourney that froze. I guess I hoped that the quality of support would be better than a few years ago. I was wrong.

Hi,

My username is <edited> .

Today at 20.30h GMT I registered for a $3 tournament with #43998304.

A lot of tables (including mine) were frozen, no hands were played at all.

After 15 minutes or so, we got to play some hands, but then I was moved to another table where no hands were played again. This scenario repeated itself a few times.

All in all, no reasonable play was possible.

Could you please refund my buyin?

Thanks for your reply.

My mail didn't concern the freeroll, I played a tournament with a $3 buyin. I would like my buyin back, since actually playing was virtually impossible.

My name is <edited> and I will assist you today.

We have received your email and we apologize for any inconvenient caused.

I was able to confirm you registered into the following tournament:

- 43998304 - $750 Guaranteed Super Turbo and finished 93 out of 419.

I could see you lost when you went All In with Ace and 6 of hearts and lost against a straight.

I apologize but I will not be able to refund your ticket because you were able to play.

<edited> if you require any further assistance with this or any other matter, please feel free to contact us.
I guess that's what I deserve for playing on a ****ty site.
