About me

I'm Pascal, a 33 year old guy from Belgium, Antwerp.

I've been playing poker since around 2008, when I joined this forum.
Early 2019 I got really serious about poker and I have been since.

I own at least 10 poker books.
I've completed several online poker courses: RCP CORE, RIO FTGU and FTGU MTT.
I've been a member of CLP and RIO.

My goal is to become a professional live tournament player and poker coach.

Why would I want you as my coach?

My coaching is aimed at beginning and/or losing players at the micro stakes, specifically 2NL, who want to become winning players.
It's very affordable for those who cannot pay $100/hour for a coach who is crushing high(er) stakes.
You should get me as a coach if you want some support while finding your own path.

I've played over 300k hands online.
I've read several poker books, watched hundreds of poker training videos and been a member of several training sites.
I've been around these forums for 10+ years and have read a lot of the advice from more experienced players.

I am definitely not one of the best players around here.

What do I get for $100?

- 1 year access to my Discord server, where I will personally answer your questions
- basic database/stats analysis on joining or after 10k hands
- 5x 30 minute personal coaching sessions through Discord chat
- basic pre-flop ranges I use
- advice on what, where and how to study
- advice on which study tools to use and how to use them
- real advice about playing poker professionally

I will not actually teach you how to become a winning player.
Instead I will guide you towards the information you need.
I can point out which parts of your game need work, but you'll have to work on them yourself.

My playing history

Early 2019 I started playing 2NLz on PokerStars, after work.
After a few months I realized I was not winning, so I got a coach.
You can see the results of the coaching and my studying in the timeline below.

I've only successfully beaten 2NL online and not over an extremely large sample.
I'm currently playing 5NLz on PokerStars and working my way up.
If you don't like this, I'm not the right coach for you.

Since the start of 2021:

Since December 2019:

Since November 2019:

Since October 2019:

Before October 2019:

As you can see, before October 2019 I was a slightly losing player. Maybe I was just running bad, at least that's what my coach kept telling me.
After that you can see I've significantly improved through coaching and studying.

Wait, so what stakes are you playing now? Forgive me, but what would set your discord apart from any other (free) micro stakes study group?

I'm playing 5NLz on PokerStars at the moment, I'm planning on posting my results here once a month.

I have 3 weeks of vacation now, my goal is to play at least 15.000 hands by the end, preferably a few more.
After that I'm most likely going back to playing 10k hands / month.

I just started playing online again after about a year of mostly playing live poker.
During that time I played about 300 hours of live poker with a slightly positive win rate.

I've switched focus from live to online again because live poker is much harder to combine with my new full time job, also Corona.

My full time job doesn't leave much time for grinding online.
I'm mostly too tired after work to play and refuse to let myself play in a tired state because I know it will have a huge negative impact on my results.
So instead I'm very active on these forums and try to study up some more.

What sets my Discord apart from study groups, is that it's not a study group.
It's more of a tool to stay in contact with me rather than an actual group.

Of course you'll be able to talk to your fellow students, but to be honest, there are none at the moment.
I will launch some promos once I get my first student, to get things going.

The biggest advantage is that you have access to my knowledge and experience.
I've played over 300k hands online, 100k+ at 2NLz, 200k+ at low stakes MTTs
I've been very active on this forum in the last 3 years and I've been around for 13+ years.

I've completed several poker courses and I've read 10+ poker books.
I own several tools like FlopZilla and GTO+ and have experience with ICMIZER and HRC and several other tools.

For about half a year I've tried making it as a live pro.
Then I found a job that I was very interested in and I was coming up just short of a sustainable full-time win rate to play poker for a living.
So I decided to take the job and continue working on my game until I'm ready to take another shot.

I have a lot of general knowledge and information that can be very useful to new players.

I'm definitely not one of the best players around here.
But I do have all the experience and knowledge required to put new players on the right track to becoming winning players.

I'm all about guiding new players in the right direction.

5NLz is this month.
2NLz is mostly last month.
(I was sick for 2 weeks so wasn't able to play.)

Graph is 2NLz and 5NLz combined.

While these samples are tiny. I'm confident that I'm a winning player at both 2NLz and 5NLz.
My current plan is to play 10k hands at 5NLz and if my win rate stays around 10bb+/100 move up to 10NLz.
If my win rate drops I'll probably stay at 5NLz a bit longer to get a 20k or 50k hand sample before moving up.

No offence here, and I do admire your enthusiasm towards helping players improve, but your results aren't amazing and the sample sizes are small. I honestly don't want to come across as being rude, so please don't think that, but should you be charging people?

I find you extremely offensive and very rude.
You obviously have no intention of getting coaching from me, yet for some reason you come into my thread trying to discredit me.
I honestly have no clue how the mods of these forums allow people like you to troll threads like mine, threads where they have absolutely no business of being in in the first place.

On a more positive note, got in 15k hands since the beginning of November 2021.
I took a shot at 5NLz and then moved up to 10NLz again after 5k hands.
I might continue playing 10NLz for a bit more, or just take a stab at 25NLz, not sure yet.

I think i am gonna be rude but the samples you posted is totally meaningless, on discord there is so many study groups with people who knows what is happening giving advices for free, Zenith poker offers high quality stuff for free, i think is better to spend your time working on your game so in the future you can coach people

I haven't seen any offence in the comments that were posted - simply a (rightful) question was asked and the comment right above me also is just stating facts.

Also I remember a few years ago you used to have a Discord (+ people in) for free - what has changed that you now feel obligated to charge people?
A 30K hands sample of 10EVBB still even has a Chance to run negative over the long run (check primedope), so not really sure what this all is about. How are people not better off with a RIO (or similar), subscription, for a few months, for the same price?

If you were sustaining this winrate over 1M+ hands, I would get your point, and there are coaches playing and coaching these limit (+ charge more than you (rightfully)), but so far your goal should be a build a sample and prove your abilities to yourself first rather than charging someone you can guide.

I wish you best of luck with your "adventure", but I really hope nobody takes this up and pays money.

For anyone who cares:

- GreekDaGrinD was posting 25NL hands in February this year and has since not started another thread
- ICrushSNGs22 if the name is not enough, this person has never posted a strategy thread here on 2+2

I seriously doubt either of these are winning players or here to actually learn something.
Either way, neither of them belong in a thread aimed at beginning players playing micro stakes.

Here are my latest results.
Planning to play at least 20k hands at 25NLz now.

I have actually looked at my stats in Primedope:

- With my previous sample (15k hands, 12bb/100, 80 standard deviation)
The chance of a 0bb/100 player running at 12bb/100 over 15k hands is 3.3%

- With my current sample (21k hands, 11bb/100, 80 standard deviation)
The chance of a 0bb/100 player running at 11bb/100 over 21k hands is 2.3%

So yeah, there is certainly a chance I'm just running good and that I'm actually a losing player who has no clue what they're talking about. It's a very tiny chance though.

Actually the haters in this thread are a perfect example as for why you SHOULD get coaching.
They obviously have no clue what they're talking about.
They haven't been active on this forum, they probably haven't been studying, they're probably not even winning players.
All they do is give bad advise on forums, which is exactly why you shouldn't take their advise and get a decent coach instead.

I have tons and tons of experience and knowledge, I'm now consistently proving that I am beating everything up to 25NL.

Hey Yeodan, I think you have misunderstood the questions other posters made. They haven't attacked you nor said you are a fish or something. Don't take it personally then.
I do think that if you take some time to reply to the questions above, your chances of getting someone under your wing will improve a lot.

No clue why you have to lit fire for no reason, no one here has attacked you with anything else other than facts.

+ ~20K Rakeback, and this is just 2 sites I ever played at as well. Not exactly sure why I even justify myself in here, but the hopeless overestimation of your results (without a sample) and you getting offended by every word that doesn't fit your mouth, well, maybe my social-brain comes up (while you will just see it as attack again anyways...)

So if you wanna talk about micro-/lowstakes expirience, there surely isn't anything YOU can tell me about

I also was in Educational school fulltime for 5 years of this, and have been working fulltime for over 3 years now (while this stuff seems to prevent you from getting in meaningful samples because "you are tired"), maybe YOU should actually hit up someone like me or numerous others that manage job+grind easily, have a decent time schedule and some energy left after work, and in a couple months time you are then able to have proven you are indeed a really good Microstakes crusher who can potentially guide others to do the same as you did over by then a hopefully at the very least 100K+ Samplesize you can then come up with.

I also see you didn't even bother replying to my question why your Discord (that actually had people in) used to be free and now you wanna charge people. I don't see how a mere 21K hands Samplesize justifies taking 100 from someone when the actual winrate can still swing like a snake on the ground, and this is exactly what the people are replying here for, in hopes to open your own eyes. But to each their own I guess.

Best of luck for next year anyway

Mom?

Seriously though, I doubt it.
I think I've answered all the legit questions that have been asked.

I'm charging $100 for a full year of support.
The next cheapest coach you can find here charges that for an hour.

Have you taken a look at how much free support I've given in the beginner's questions forum over the last 3 years?
I don't see any of these other troll posters helping anyone out, do you?

You come into MY coaching thread and tell me how I should run things.

This coaching Discord group has nothing to do with any previous Discord groups I've had.

Go start your own coaching thread if you like (and if you haven't already, I really don't care)
You obviously have 0 interest in my coaching and thus the only reason you're posting here is to attack me personally.

Sharing an anonymous Sharkscope profile doesn't really prove anything now does it?
I'm sure it's yours, beating $4.50 SNG's is really something to brag about, how do you even play 230k of those without ever moving up?

You've lit plenty of fire, now burn!

Lastly I would like to thank all of you trolls for keeping my post at the top of the forum and for all the extra attention you're getting me. Thank you.

How's 25 going for you now? Have you noticed much of a difference between 5, 10 and 25?

I played a small amount of hands at 16z but kept getting crushed.. I ran bad at that level and it just seemed weird.. It was frustrating at times with how bad I ran, but I'd run decent at 10z and recoup the money easily.

I've been running bad at 25z (way below EV)
It does feel like there's much more aggression there, but not necessarily by better players, just so many people bluffing their stack away or over valuing TP hands.
Feels like I've had way more all-ins and I've also run into the nuts with 2nd best hands a lot.

So not sure yet, gonna need to play some more hands.
Also getting some coaching myself to improve and move up to 50z asap.

I found (or at least levelled into thinking) players were slightly more aggressive, but that was probably variance, and a sample size issue. It doesn't take long to adjust in any case.

What suggestions do you have for coaching? I will take a session with Peter Clarke to see how that goes more than likely.

Yeah might just be some variance.

I'm currently getting coaching from Brokenstars:
https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...200nl-1793589/

Peter Clarke is very expensive and I've seen somewhere that he's not really actually playing that much himself anymore.
I'm a fan of him, got RIO FTGU, but I honestly don't think he's worth the money, unless you're playing 100NL+
I've run into a few questionable things in FTGU though, nothing really bad, but some of the things in there are not great. Those few parts might just be a bit too old for today's games.

Overall I would really recommend FTGU to intermediate players.
It's a bit too advanced for beginners and a bit too basic for very experienced (read studied) players.

Yeah I have that series, and would also recommend. I'd be looking for coaching from Peter Clarke if/when I reach 200z.. But have just messaged Brokenstars to book a couple of sessions

Would you be interested in doing a couple of sweat sessions when I'm fully setup?

Hey, I'm a complete novice at this game and want coaching,,,Please forgive me for my ignorance but what are you offering here? Seems like you google stuff and send links to other coaches work?

I have read about sample size and you have posted minute samples that I can only fathom are cherry picked when you ran hotter than the sun?

What are your results at 25cent?

Your post history indicates you were struggling to beat 5nl two months back and asked if you should move up? Then now suddenly you play 25cent game?

Please don't take this as a troll,,,,i'm conscious of being scammed and would rather google free articles myself than pay hundo for you to do it for me

I'd like to hear your justification regarding how you can call yourself a coach when you can't provide solid stats to back this up.. And the coach title is at best misleading so major strike for 2p2

**Disclaimer**

I haven't received coaching from Yeodan, and don't have any connections with OP but it seems like he offers a unique option for players that can't afford to pay for coaching but want to improve. We all were beginner's at some stage and it was daunting sifting through all the articles and sites that offered content.

And credit to Yeodan here - He has been totally transparent in this thread and has not claimed to be anything other than the level his game is currently at.

$100? Its certainly a cheap option as far as i can see.. And that should be recouped within the 12months anyways at the tables..

Major strike for 2+2 indeed, allowed shits like you to troll without any consequences.

Please come back in a year and let me know how much money you've wasted on products, services and subscriptions that turned out to be mostly useless, then you'll understand what kind of service I'm offering.

Actually, please don't come back, don't need *******s like you in my life.
