Got to love Press Releases spun into "news." And, the cheating isn't even mentioned. Disgusting.

It's a press release, why would they want to mention any sort of scandal?

I played in the 6k with her last night. On the 1st hand she managed to get 150 BB in with 99. Needless to say the guy to my right will be playing in the 15K Wednesday night.

lol kevmath is right why the hell would they mention the scandal in the article. Also what is it with UB signing people that the poker community doesn't seem to like.

My reason for posting it was that if Yahoo was going to have a news article about Ultimate Bet, I would expect it to be about the cheating scandal, not based on a Press Release written by the company. Maybe this is more for the Politics forum, but just another sad example of the media's over-reliance on press releases and "official statements."

The article is listed under the "press releases" section of Yahoo! Business News. Whomever wrote the release should have issued it on Friday morning if they were trying to promote something for Friday night.

OP It's a promo announcement written by UB for press release all yahoo did was publish it along with many other news outlets (UB hopes) to be sure
