What made it the best room? With 1949 hours at the Wynn did you play anywhere else ?

Why doesn't John get this job? The man does a great job and seemingly everyone likes him...

hopefully the new manager will get rid of the stupid rule they have which limits the amount
of comps (2 covers) players can use in a day.

I <3 John, but the skills he presides over as a floor person that everyone loves would not translate to the skills that a Poker Director has. A Director should be heard from, but rarely seen - this is a corporate job managing staff, budgets and allocations - it is not a player relations gig. Its a night and day situation. Now its very possible that John would be good at behind the scenes management, but if he was chosen then you wouldn't see him on the floor making players happy ever again - thats not the job of a Director.

PS: I expect John to read this, this is no disrespect to John at all... in fact its the opposite. I am praising his people skills which would be lost if he became a Director.

Doubtful. This is probably an policy that is forced upon the room by upper management that is trying to cut waste. The number of comps assigned in a day to a player shouldn't matter to a poker room director, but it is something that upper level management would care about.

Bo is good people, I remember him from the early days of Wynn + plus we share many mutual friends back in Macao. I am hoping he does well in his new gig, gl Bo!
