WSOP Main Event Final Table Live Broadcast? (www.bluffmagazine.com/live starting now) WSOP Main Event Final Table Live Broadcast? (www.bluffmagazine.com/live starting now)

I am not going to listen to the audio, not browsing the web just to avoid any spoilers at the day of the final table and then watch the broadcast.
First time watching a ME FT without knowing who will win. Allthough the broadcast is gonna suck like it always does it still will be exciting.

Make sure to avoid ESPN until it starts, too, since last year they spoiled it during the morning SportsCenter.

ESPN used to offer the final table live on PPV. Two years ago I bought it for something like $49.95. It went on for over twelve hours, until the wee hours. This was the year Jerry Yang won. I'd buy it again if it were available.

Any news on an audio feed for this yet?

What am I supposed to do with an audio feed?

Why is there no PPV?

There's a countdown over on www.wsop.com for the audio broadcast.

Hey Kevmath, any information or confirmations on a Pay-Per-View video broadcast? Or is there pretty much no hope at this point?
10-20-2009 , 07:13 PM
Pretty much no hope, only thing on the wsop.com page is the link to the audio broadcast.

Harrah's exec: How do we make the biggest poker tournament as least exciting as possible?
Harrah's marketing guru: Let's have no video feed and an audio only broadcast before ESPN edits the crap out of it a couple of days later.
Exec: I like the way you think guru. Beer's on me.

The video was done thru ESPN360, but the audio would be available at the bluffmagazine.com site

Long live EPT! Long live EPTLive!
WSOP's gonna die if they keep pretending its still 1920s.

f beef

Can't decide if I should live in a cave and try to watch it "live" on ESPN two days after the fact or just follow along online while it's happening.

It would be an interesting experiment for ESPN to broadcast the FT live on ESPN2 for its entire duration. Of course, that would throw a colossal monkey wrench into their neat schedule of NASCAR and billiards.

So lame. Like waiting two days to watch the Super Bowl so they can make the commentary more witty. I believe they are the Raging Cajuns.

where exactly on this bluff site is the live stream? do you have to register and login before you see the stream site?
11-07-2009 , 12:10 PM
Assume on the bluffmagazine.com front page, there'll be a link that says "click here" or similar the closer it gets to noon PT.

didnt see this answered, why no live stream this year?
11-07-2009 , 01:02 PM
There was a live audio stream last year, there's a live audio stream this year. The reason why there's no PPV video stream the past two years is that there weren't enough people buying it, along with the strong possibility of people getting the PPV stream for free.
