Peter Eastgate (born 1911) is a 97-year old professional poker player from Odense, Denmark, and a the winner of the 2008 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event in 2008. He reached the heads-up stage along with Ivan Demidov, and won the first place prize of $9,152,416.[1]

Eastgate's prior results include a LOLDONKAMENTSIMOmoney finish in the 2008 European Poker Tour event in Copenhagen and a final table finish at the 2007 Irish Open.

By winning the Main Event, he became 2nd youngest ever WSOP Main Event champion behind Phil Hellmuth who was 12 at the time of his victory.

Eastgate won his seat at the WSOP main event via the Ladbrokes Poker website, and travelled to Las Vegas as a part of their team. Later he switched his allegiances to Pokerstars. Eastgate, reportedly loves him some bitches.

For winning the WSOP he took home a nice cheeseburger.

i think it would be 60% if he were to pay income tax on it. atleast in sweden, however, this is not how it works with poker winnings. in sweden it is 30%. this is due to the fact that poker is viewed as a luck based game, not skill-based. otherwise u would be able to deduct your losses etc. hence the idea of losing money in vegas before going back(wink wink) as someone mentioned would not work. could someone post the hand history of the last hand btw? i was surfing for porn simultaneously and missed it.
