Russell vs. Hachem
Russell Rosenblum raises to 1,200 in early position and Joe Hachem calls from middle position. The small blind and big blind also call.

The flop is and it's checked to Hachem. He bets 3,500 and Rosenblum calls. The turn is and Rosenblum leads out for 6,000. Hachem calls.

The river is and Rosenblum bets 6,000 again. Hachem goes into the tank.

"This is so brutal," says Hachem.

"I'm shaking my head at you," he says to the dealer in mock annoyance. "You can't blame the dealer," says another player. "Yes, I can," says Hachem.

"Just meant to be tortured all day, eh?" he says. He asks for a pot spread. "Right value bet. Right value bet," Hachem mutters. Finally, he tosses out the call and turns over for the flopped set -- but Rosenblum has for the turned straight.

"Of course. Tens," says Hachem. He's down to 16,000 and Rosenblum has 67,000.

Seems like Hachem's a real nice guy...not

for winning two of the biggest tournaments, like ever, hachem really needs to chill out imo and stop with his antics...the dealer had it out for him too when his Q7 sucked out on Kanter

Hachem needs to find a grease fire. I can't think of a more unlikable ME winner ever.

Sklansky Clings to Life

Quote:
It’s been a slow day for David Sklansky, and it hasn’t picked up any steam in the final level. He has been hovering around the 10,000 chip count for the past few hours, and couldn’t do anything with his blinds in a recent rotation. As big blind, he saw a player in middle position raise to 1050. Sklansky, already in for 400, made the call. After the flop came J87, he folded to a bet of 1,550. He then limped for another 400 the next hand as small blind, but dodged out of the way when the flop came 532. As it turned out, a player pushed all-in with the Q9, was called by a set of fives, then the board ran out JA for the running flush. Sklansky then folded his button and now sits at 9,500.

They have the amazon room, brasilia room, tournament room, buchio room and pokerpit on the other end of the casinomitself. 2100 places are sold finnishing day 1c and they expect a lot of late registers. My guess is we will brake last years number.

2,700 is the max since they're not doing alternates. In MTTC, someone was saying that tomorrow would sell out to get to 7,000. They're already over last year's figure at this time.
