I think Ladbrokes and some other site are the only sites that actually buy you into the event this year. From the rest you get cash and register yourself. I would just take the cash from FTP and then play for PokerStars, they even got some pretty nice gear. And from my experience Stars is top notch, all cathegories.

I've won WSOPME packages and an APPT package in the past. Pokerstars does everything with class and they really go out of their way to help you if you run into any problems.

The hotel room on Stars is IN ADDITION TO the package that you won.
It's like an 'overlay' of sorts.

I don't know how the package works on FT but I believe the hotel-room cost is already factored into the total prize value.

Stars $12.5k package is $10k buy-in plus $2.5k cash for travel and expenses after you prove that you played. And then they throw in roughly $1k+ in hotel value for free.

I'm guessing that FT is $10k buy-in plus $1k cash plus $1k of the value that you won going to pay for the hotel room.

FT $12.5k package is worth $12.5k.
Stars $12.5k package is worth $13.5k.


If you are Supernova on Stars then they upgrade you to a studio-suite at the Palms Place condos. If you are not a SN then you just get a regular hotelroom at Stars.


Also - The additional TV-table and final-table incentives appear to be better value on Stars.
And they are pretty awesome in their organization and treatment of their customers.
I don't know how FT rates in that department.

the package i won on tilt was 12k of which they gave me 2k straight away and said i will get the remaining 10k a month before the event starts (was also given the option of 12k T$ immediately)
