he clearly said he was bluffing in the interview after busting.

saying he thought tonking had what he thought he had, and he made a good call.

Not really sure why, but I am starting to dislike Tonking. He just looks like a prick, probably unfair but idk.

It definitely makes more sense than a bluff. On such a dry board and this SPR, I could see someone saying "Tonking should be 3barrelling every hand that beats Newhouse". I think it's too thin at this table but I wouldn't be surprised if in a vaccuum it's OK.

thats exactly what im saying....he wasnt even bluffing! such a terrible spot to run a bluff with a hand like TT that has so much showdown value given his maniac-loose image!

also if you notice, he flipped his hand over very quickly and confidently as if he thought he just won a big pot...and his posture did a 180 after Tonking started flipping his cards over like a boss!

def a value bet.
def a horrible play.
def will say he was bluffing afterwards to save face...

If he was value betting he would have thought about it a bit on the river. He instashipped like he had a Jack. Tonking's 3bet range pre is super strong in that spot.

Flatting pre flop put Newhouse in an awkward spot throughout the hand

Or does he always turn his hand over like that? If I have 5 high that's how I flip my hand over and I think Newhouse does the same.

Which is why he should have just folded pre. Tonking's range crushes him and he had no evidence that Tonking was ever making a move pre.

Think he flipped it over like that hoping somehow, some way, his hand was good.
