I doubt this is even true, but a guy at my live table claims a pokersite is developing a game of NL with 1-2 blinds, with the catch that you dont know the stack sizes of the other players.
So if someone sends 200 into the pot, you wouldnt know if he was allin unless he was called. The game would still be table stakes, you just dont know how much behind he is.

I guess tho if you kept track of pots hes won, you might still have some idea.
BUT it would add a new dimension to strategy.

This game would remove some of the edge over the recreational players that is not aware of the impact stacksizes should have on the way you play a hand.

Only good thing for a recreational player like me is the smart guys like the ones in the thread wont play in the game. These crazy rules would of course increase the luck aspect of poker but they would also make this game CONSIDERABLY softer.

I've played in a game like this where you didn't know what the opponent had behind.....

...on "Red Dead Redemption" on ps3.

It's annoying but I'm still crushing the game ;-)

just increase your bet amount until it stops; where it stops is the opponents stack size (hu only ldo)

Like you could be playing holdem and someone else is playing razz the other is playing omaha

this sounds good imo

or a game where it's always dealt stud but you have no idea if you're playing stud high, stud 8, or razz, until the money gets shipped to one person
