Why? What's going on in Vegas?

Well, once I was told back in the aughts that the WSOP was an amazing wonderland where you could rub elbows with the greatest players in the world and just maybe you'd win a hand against them and have a story to tell your grandchildren.

But now I realize that the WSOP is a scary place where you can get your hotel room robbed, you can get robbed in the parking lot, and Cantu might beat you up.

Gone are the days where the new generation of players can brag about seeing Johnny Moss, or Am Slim, or cheer as fat slob Chris Moneymaker draws one out on Ivey for the common man.

Now, you get called a bitch at the table by an obnoxious tourney lizard whilst some girl angle shoots you, and then another girl who dresses more manly than you calls you a sexist.

We came not to the gloomy pits to speak of love, but times have changed and ways have changed too.
