scotty on this list is a ****ing joke. He gets a couple of free passes for being a dick because he's so awesome when he's not very drunk.

hating on scotty is just dumb, baby.

the correct answer to your dumb poll is none of the people listed are "bad" for poker. each are idiots, cheaters or scumbags in their own right, but the fact that their acts don't register at all with the general public and are nothing more than NVG topics for poker forums mean their impact on poker in general is slim to none

Scotty should be chosen simply because he has to put the word "baby" in the beginning, middle and end of every sentence.

God that tilts me.

"Bad for poker" is an over-used meme, imo. It doesn't even mean anything, at least not in the context used. How can the names on the above list be BAD for the game? I see a list of people who've been caught cheating or being degenerates. It's totally accepted knowledge that poker is populated by cheats and degenerates. How can one more shining example be "bad" for the game?

If FTP goes down the best and worst person for poker would be Phil Ivey imo.

Poll is basically who has been worse for poker if you exclude the people who have really been the worst for poker.

While I love watching Scotty drunk or sober, I think he might be the best option here.

How many people who aren't really into poker have ever heard of Girah? Chino Rheem, while he has been on TV several times, has a reputation that is only known by people already into poker, same with Men Nguyen.

ESPN repeats the WSOP episodes a million times. Non-poker people who turned that on and saw Scotty pounding back beers and being an a-hole at what's supposed to be an incredibly prestigious tournament are going to be turned off from the game and are going to have a tough time taking it seriously.

Basically what I'm saying is that you have to look at it from the perspective of someone who isn't into poker and doesn't read 2+2. These people don't know of Chino or Men's reputation and have never heard of JungleMan or Girah. They did, however, see Scotty being a drunk a-hole at that final table.
