You know, for as much (well-deserved) flak as Russ Hamilton / UB / etc gets, it's actually pretty amazing that Scott Tom, AJ Green, and the rest of the Absolute frat boy thieves have faded from 2+2 consciousness to the extent that they apparently have. I mean; it was barely 2 years ago that this scandal rocked the industry to its core, 2+2 led the charge to roast these perps on a spit, and now? Well most people seem content to let it all just slowly fade from relevance. By all accounts (confirmed, I think by Paul Leggett and others), Absolute signed some sort of confidentiality agreement with AJ Green whereby he agreed to show them how the cheating was accomplished, and they agreed not to prosecute him. That deal never quite sat right with me, nor anyone for that matter. Certainly, ordinary players are a little helpless in this situation, but if there's one thing we CAN do, it's to not let AJ ever, EVER, escape this. He should pay for this the rest of his life. With that: let's have a fresh look at his whereabouts.

First off, appears he's trying to distance himself from the name AJ Green and return to his given name Allan Grimard. Now I'm nowhere near as good as the rest of 2+2 at internet-digging, so I'll just get the ball rolling and hopefully let the nerds here run with it...he has recently registered a bunch of websites and has new profiles and pics of himself on various professional networking sites.

Are you saying Bonomo and the CR crew are in the same league with AJ Green, Russ Hamilton, Absolute and Ultimatebet? Really???

Last I heard still in Costa Rica in his mini-compound house, still affiliated silently with AP. At least that was what I heard as I drove by his house in CR.

The AP scandal really bothers me because everyone is supposed to believe that the cheating only took place for a few months in 2007? Look at UB, it was years. I find it very hard to think AP was different, but alas no way to prove it.

Also, we are to believe it was just A.J.? He did it all alone, used all the different names released in the AP scandal, he figure out the software loophole, figured out how to cheat. He just used Scott Tom's home network, etc. but Scott had nothing to do with it. I also find it very hard to believe it was just A.J. cheating at AP

Do you know if any of the AP fratguys had any affiliation with UB prior to AP being created and do you think they knew about the cheating prior to purchasing UB/AP?

I've always been more interested in the AP cheaters than the UB cheaters, and that, Nat, seems to have been the scandal that you were more intimately involved in. At the risk of turning this into an "Ask Nat..." thread, and acknowledging that you probably don't want to talk much more about it, I'll pile on with one more Q: what do you think ever became of the Montana frat boys? Do you think they still have any ownership / operational interest in the company?

This thread inspired me to throw the names of some of the alleged AP frat boy conspirators into Google, and I found this nugget:http://www.sovereignman.com/expat/go...age-in-panama/ Oscar Hilt Tatum IV -- he who was rumored to have fled to Panama along with his father (didn't someone turn up Panamanian immigrant application docs for the two of them?) has opened Best Safety Boxes, a super-shady-sounding secure gold storage facility in Panama. There's an audio clip (pretty thinly-veiled interview/infomercial actually) of him talking about it. Anyone want to go recover the stolen AP funds from Oscar's Panamanian vault?

If these guys had stolen money from me and it didn't look like there was a legal alternative to a resolution, I can promise you that I'd seek other means to exact justice. With the amount of money they stole, however, I'm sure they're well protected.

Both he and Scott Tom have hired SEO experts to try and restore their reputations online hence all the profiles everywhere. All you have done by linking to them is boost them. Most likely they hired a reputation management team within the SEO field.

is there a way to link them to "AP/UB cheaters.org" or some such site to foil their online rehab plans
