I first heard a Redskins fan shouting it during the 1987 NFC Championship game vs Vikings during a pan out on a 1987 NFL season video my dad had as a kid (love those things for Facendas' voice).

Joe Hachem, the douche of douches, was the first big name pro to feature it during his WSOP run. Phil Laak also egregiously overuses it.

Scientists have not been able to prove this with 100% certainity but the earliest known use of the term “one time” was by Grog, the caveman, during the Ice Age when he was trying to start a fire with two pieces of wood.

He sure said it alot funnier than the other clips in the thread.
And here on the 2+2 forum I do believe hevad played his part of making it this popular.
As you can clearly see there is "ONE TIME!" in almost every thread.
This was not the case before that montage of khan got known.
