I was in town for the first week of the WSOP - not much to report from Bellagio - Lil Hold 'em walking around sans the grill (big improvement), Phil Ivey Friday night before last coming to craps table, taking what looked to be 100K in flags, blowing it on a few rolls and then leaving, Farha playing blackjack every night and ordering a $1050 glass of brandy on the house at one point, giving everyone at table a chance to sip it. Right after Ivey left crap table, the shorter of the Maloof brothers came to same table ($1k min bet) and threw for awhile with an Asian woman on each side (eat your heart out Greenstein). Maloof did not bet at Ivey levels - nit.

Also, Saturday before last I was in the Bellagio $2K tourney with Jennifer Tilly. She raises in hijack and I reraise in BB with AK. Flop comes KJx. Long story short, she cripples me with JJ. It was all I could do to keep from saying, "I was hoping you'd put me on pocket Kings." She's the nuts - nice as all get out, beautiful, and was only one at table drinking (she ordered a daquiri at 3pm). Love me some Tilly.

I know, its weaksauce, but I didnt see/hear anything too juicy.

rumor has it ray ramono is gauranteeing a win this year. Any other famous actors/actresses gonna be in it/ pro athletes. If so i hope one of them when. That would be funny. Show how much luck poker really is. Although some of them are pretty decent at poker.
