When was the last time, excluding durrrr, that you've seen any of the 2+2 high stakes community ever play in a game without gus or a fish in it? Seems like omg, urin, trex, etc ONLY play when those people are playing.

The FT pro's and Durrrr seem to be the only people ever willing to play in a game without thinking there is a fish at the table. Are the others just glorified bumhunters? Are there a lot of 25/50, even 10/20 players who are consistently playing and beating tougher games than many of the highest stakes players?

btw, i think they are all really damn good, so in before jealous hater..i just wonder if they are ever playing in really hard games anymore or if its always them and their friends and the lone MARK at the table. This isn't to say a 5 handed game with the above three, patrick and gus is a soft game, but it does seem like they are blatantly there just to play Gus and even sit out the second he does.

Why would they play against good opponents when theres fish available? Does not compute

Well for one, there aren't fish available most of the time, and for two, someone like Jman, trying to start a training site, should consider playing at least occasionally with top players heads up or in a tough lineup where durrr and patrik are playing or something..they obviously don't have to, and are doing great, but i am curious if people think they are just really good bumhunters that never ever play hands in a purely tough lineup without a mark.

I do think someone like Jman or urindanger, while very good players, gets more respect that they deserve. There are people at lower stakes beating tougher games. Take guy's 20 million out of the nosebleed community and they are left with very little. Someone like Jman should play some 25/50 and see how he does for NVG's sake (yes, obviously he won't listen to us). It would be interesting to see if he is as good as he thinks he is.

I am willing to take on the challenge and protect 2+2's reputation by playing the best players at any game any time. I just need a steak imo.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever read on NVG.

Ivey, PA, Durrrr and Ziigmund are a minor population of people that will play anybody anytime on a regular basis. You can't hate others for table selecting.

Everyone winning money at poker is technically a bumhunter. If you are winning money and +EV over another player it means you're making your living off inferior players. Even if you go ahead and donate some of it back to players who are better than you, that doesn't negate the fact you are basically just giving away your bumhunted money to better players. Nobody can take the claim of not being a bumhunter unless they are willing to just lose constantly to better players while improving their game to learn to bea those players. All the "nonbumhunters" are doing really is just taking money from bums and donating it to better players as a price for learning to beat them. A bumhunter simply chooses not to.

You are aware that they play with real money. Why would anyone need to prove anything to someone they don't even know?

as i made very clear in the ( ) i was kidding about doing it for NVG. but perhaps because he likes to call himself one of the best players in the world, and because he is starting a training site, it would be good to prove he can win vs top players heads up etc etc. obviously he is under no obligation to do so.

This forum really needs a "who cares" section where these posts can be put and responded too...also once someone posts a thread that gets moved to that forum they are banned from any other forum posting until they spend 3 months reading other threads like the one they originally made.
