whats the deal with the 40/80 nl game on FTP (hyperaggrodonk)

I just have a few questions
-why does it run so often? I mean who's it really for, people who are bored with 25/50 but dont want to play 50/100
-why does it seem everyone is so deep there all the time compared to other deep tables, seeing a few players there with 800+ BB is pretty common
-who is this hyperaggrodonk character and why does he never play on his own table or anywhere else really?
So if anybody knows something please share

Just a guess, but it's probably popular because people prefer playing 5 handed and there's one seat reserved which is always empty.

Maybe it's also last limit you can sit at where you don't need to contact FTP in order to play like higher games?

Maybe you have, not sure, can't check atm because other $40/$80 games are ML.

I think a big factor is it's a high stakes table which is 5 handed (since hyperaggrodonk never actually takes his seat).

hyperaggrodonk is Taylor Caby's protégé from a few years back. I think his name is Brian (Hookem48) Rue or something like that.

One thing I noticed is that the min buyin is $8000 (100bbs) as opposed to 50bbs at ordinary deep tables, not sure what the max is, $16k I guess

It's a deep game.. I've got to live sweat a high stakes player that typically plays on stars at this table; was insane to say the least.. for me anyway.

max buy in of 16k, just checked right now.
id assume it runs more than 50/100 bc you dont have to email ftp to get access to the tables, so its the highest stakes a random fish can come and sit w/o having to email support

FTP should bring back all those old deep tables
