Sade is good grinding music. If you are ever undecided before sex, Sade is a no brainer.

As for poker, I like gangsta rap to get me motivated, but classic blues, jazz, country and reggae to keep me calm and focused.

Going to make love to the bookies today, so mixing the love music and reggae today with this classic Gregory Isaacs show:

You may have to be on the tail end of a six-pack or "in the zone" the first time you hear this to really appreciate it, but it's a bad mother****er! Great for HU.

Usually alot of Chill Step mixes such as:

Tunee.

But sometimes music annoys me when its in your ears for hours at a time so I put on Alan Watts fully motivational and edited with soft music I urge you to at least spend 2 minutes and watch/listen to this video not for some people but man this guy can make you think out side the box.

Can't get enough of Bach's motets right now.

Bach's good people.

Later inventions rest on his broad shoulders as a cathedral roof rests on stone walls.

This could very well be my favorite song to play poker to:

i have tried many types of music during playing but it becomes boring and i usually dont use music anymore also as poker and music does not fit together any more than music during math, science, serious talking. silence is pretty close the best most of the time but it could be improved my some extra life factors around as long as they dont decrease the attention too much. music is mainly for rest, not for work.

I find that music, especially certain types, help me to play better and do things that I wouldn't normally do without music playing. This can obviously be -EV at times, but I think that overall it's +EV. For instance, if I'm listening to Wu Tang or something, then I become more fearless when it comes to betting and putting money in the pot. Sometimes Wu Tang can turn me into a spewtard, but it helps me more than it hurts. If I'm listening to some chillout or relaxing music, then I find it easier to be more passive and let things come to me. Listening to progressive house or trance puts me in a neutral mood, where I can be aggressive or passive when I need to be. Music, without a doubt, effects mood, and mood is a big part of poker.

I know this is an age old debate, like the weed/poker thread, but I think that personally for me, music and poker go together extremely well.

This might be the best post in this whole thread except one thing, music is mainly for asserting one's will.

America + Traveling Wilburys. I'm normally into metal and rock but they gear me up too much to play as rationally
