Just think, in a few months one of these guys will be doing FullTilt or Pokerstars commercials (bungejumping, street hockey, pie eating contest)...and if you see them you will ask for their autograph. lol

There are about eight more recognizable pros in the top 25, all within 20% of the top 9, so it is unlikely no one we know will make the final table.

you can't really say unless you've seen them. some people are instantly marketable.

doesn't matter if we don't recognise the name if they are compelling in some way, like how every year espn finds the dude who's parent died in the past year and wants to win it for them, or who has a disability, or who has some crazy backstory of some kind.

on the pokerstars qualifiers survey this year they asked us what we would like to be asked if we were to appear on the tonight show, and how would we answer?

whoever the nine end up being, they will hone in on whoever has the most compelling story (esp if its the chip leader), and hype them up the most. the other eight will gain fans wherever they come from (obviously its great the more non-americans/ethnic groups there are) but i imagine one guy/girl will get most of the publicity.

nah i know they don't care. i would bet more except i realize the odds are bad when you think about it. im only betting one person so unless max raises or whoever backs out then the best is closed. its just that i need someone who wouldnt give two bleeps aboutmy bet to escrow who is respected so that i know my change is safe.

you can just ship max/whoever takes the bet(pick me imo) the money now and not have to worry about it
