One way to look at it is, if you are caught cheating in a live poker room (like sharing cards with your neighbor) you will most likely be charged with a crime, if you are found to be underage after playing for a couple hours, they would most likely just kick you out.

While I agree it's great to see Andy back as I think he's a great player and the extremely limited times I talked to him he was a great bloke to me this:

Andy is a sick sick player I remember 2 yrs ago playing him and just blown away by his aggression and timing and I had no idea he would have been 16. Infact most of the guys I have met @ PCA or EPT I can't believe how young they are.

well there's 5 or so other aussies that are sick good at MTT and crush whenever they play but they are all really lazy (look up rkruok, kochan, grunter321 for eg. and you'll see that they only play once every couple of weeks, but have heaps of good results).

often the main difference between a fringe ranked type player and someone in the top 10 is that the guy in the top 10 plays every single day.

No disrespect to the mentioned players, but Mcleod was wiped off the list in Bluff Aust Mag when he was outed for underage. Had Bluff Aust kept his score at that stage, then he would have easily taken the best Aust online player.
As for alexiemartov...anyone who plays with the likes of ADZ124, VegaLion etc are utterly sick!

Because like 80% of the MTT community knew he was underage. Kind of ironic Sorel of all people chose to act as the morality police and out him.

That being said... The kids one of the best MTT players out there.

I see your point.... But are you not aware of the operation Sorel and JJ Prodigy were running?

I would just think that it would have been a legit player to out Andy... Not someone as shady as Sorel. But whatever I suppose.

any 16yo who's playing online and making tons of money over adults is a genius IMO

the T&C about being underage is to prevent ppl underage to get into trouble bcz of gambling

Andy is just destructing the game and is one of the best poker minds in online tournaments so I don't think he deserved to be outted out. That's pretty lame on Sorel's part IMO

Yeah but you asked what it had to do with an argument with sorel right? I'm confused here, but isn't the only reason Andy got caught because Sorel outed him on a public board somewhere after they had an argument?

Yes he did break the T&C and yes he knowing did so whilst becoming one of the best online MTT players during 06-07. And yes again, it was deserving of PStars and FT to ban him from their site after they became aware of this following the Sorel outting of Andy, which was like a bomb going off

8mths later, he is 18yo, he is allowed to play because the only rule that he broke in the T&C of any online site was that he was underaged. Now, Sorel on the other hand was caught multiaccounting and has since been banned from FT.

IMO..who gives a flying f@#k what age he was, just recognise the fact that he is one of the best MTT players around.
