Just wow at some of those revelations. Even with all the sickness that was out there, I guess we still only got a small glimpse at what was really going on behind the scenes. How on earth Blom would end up owing $1.2m to ownage4u and his friend/business associate? I mean, who in their right mind would actually LOAN significant money to a total degenerate like Blom, let alone hand him $1m+? Is this actually some de facto staking arrangement that was structured in a way that would turn the make-up into debt? Did ownage4u transfer money to Blom so he would keep on playing him heads-up and win all the money (if so, **** ownage, it would be similiar to what was going on between Cole South and Eli Elezra)?

How come nobody has written a book/big magazine feature on Blom's Poker career yet?

Also.. How have Isi and Pokerstars fallen out so much? He was once their main sponsored pro ffs! And yet now it seems to be very bitter.. but equally, Stars are a POS so I can understand

and finally.. If i had made 4mil playing poker.. i dont know how these players get into loaning and staking.. I mean Isi could have just played 10k NL with 400 buy ins.. I dont even understand why these ppl get involved with this stuff. Personally.. I would totally refuse if it was me

Why would Blom owe the x-book if he was staked? Seems like this would have to be dealt with between ownage and the backer.

This is so surreal. I mean, we always knew he was a sick degenerate, but I figured he had at least some money ring-fenced from his Poker adventures. How the **** do you go from playing $1.3m pots to begging for money for your day to day living expenses? He's still only 30 or so. Maybe he will just try and obtain a degree?

Fairs Raul isn’t Isildur’s fan after letting 800k be wiped for him but from what he said it looks like just game selection was just happening? Seems normal to me

Very common story, just happens to be for a lot of money. The type of person who can spin up huge amounts being a degenerate is just going to keep pushing themselves constantly towards the edge until things eventually crash down. If they were the type of person who could be responsible with money they would never have ran up the large amount that quickly in the first place.
