Ask all you want. There are no links unless one of the links already posted in this thread still works. Oh, seems it does. So instead of everyone asking for a PM with the link, why not just use the one that's already in this thread.

Maybe what Scotty said was true. HSP is all fake to begin with. I assume Jamie Gold busted out since Daniel took his seat in that upcomming episode. Maybe he just quit before he lost it all

Uhhh its poker

if guy didnt agree to any deals the cards would be put out and we would have a winner

its not like that degenerate benyamine had any options after the cash went in. Besides insurance with someone else at the table

are you sure david loses 400k?

I thought they split the pot into 3 (1.2mil/3 = 400k).

David wins one slice of this. And he started with 600k, so he's lost 200 all up. Please correct me if I'm a moron.
everything you said is right, your not the moron

all I can say is db looked so sick when he saw guy's hand, so so so so sick
Why does every1 think it's 200k??
pot is 1.2 million, 1st run = 400k pot, 2nd run = 400k pot,
3rd run = 400k pot, lose 2 of those, == -400k

remember Jamie- Patrik hand ---> 250k to Jamie, 250k to Jamie, 250k to Patrik, that's -250 for Patrik

maybe im thinking about total pot, and not splitting it up...oops.. didn't think it would cut some1's win by that much. In this case it would have been exactly like them playing for that 168k raise. So i guess Patrik only won about 150k or so off of Sammy if they ran it 4 times.

In the intro fottage for this game Doyle himself notes that Guy is the only player who is properly bankrolled to play it. This is apparant from the reactions of the players in the biggest pots thus far. The game is simply too big.

Nobody really thinks Guy was pulling a Hellmuth and letting DB off the hook because he was afraid of losing, do they?
I got a decent feeling that someone ranked on Forbes' billionaire list isn't worried about losing a 600K pot.

I was terribly dissapointed. If the stakes don't matter to you, don't play.Nobody forced DB to shove with naked FD after he was 4bet by someone who doesn't like to fold.

GSN advertises it as the biggest televised cash game, etc, but so far all the huge pots were run several times and in actuality, the biggest pot was like 250-300k tops.
Why bother with the 500k buyin then?

And Guy's offer is as joke as Sammy's constant offers to chop.
Play goddamn poker!!!!

I think HSP should forbid such things and forbid running it more than once.If anybody disagrees - don't play then.
I beleive that it would make people who can barely afford the stakes (Antonio etc) to decline, more billionaires would be featured and in turn, the high stakes pros would be delighted to play, combining action, selling shares etc.

Just don't give us the "biggest pot ever" and then run it 15 times...for 50k a piece.

They rarely play this big imo, I think the last time was during wsop with Sbrugby, Farha, and co. and there is supposed to be more big uncapped games this december. I would say on average that buy-in is about 25-33% of their poker bankroll, and Guy can lose another 2000 of those buyins before he gets uncomfortable at 500 million..lol

I Guess you missed the post right after that where I corrected myself, with that selective reading of yours. Have never run it three times, and didn't know it was equivalent to saying "would you rather a shot at a third of my money?"

I don't think banning running more then once is a good idea unless you have cap at 200k or so. The biggest pots will be the ones with action on river, ie. Hansen/Negreanu. Is anyone really bothered by them running it more then once? It's their money, and having more rich whales on show just makes for bad poker--->see first 10 or so episodes of this season.

None of them own themselves completely anyway. A rule preventing them from running it more than once would probably just force them to compensate by not owning so much of themselves when they play, which is fine, because it still makes for more interesting tv.

i mean, everyone is knocking benyamine, saying hes not a 'pro' for this and stuff.. but i mean cmon, EVERY SINGLE PERSON here would have done the EXACT same thing if they were let off the hook like that. it definitely makes for less interesting tv, but if someone wants to give me tons of ev im not gonna call him an ass and tell him to keep his money.

Guy had the most important thing happen he wanted: he outplayed one of the pros in a huge pot on national TV. I think thats was worth more than any amount at the table, and him showing sympathy shows he can outplay the players, and still not even need the $$$.

lol @ Doyle to Benyamine

" This represents one day in his life, and represents your life"

Awesome
that sentence made me puke, really. look at benyamine´s face and you know what a terrible sentence that was. having 1.2 mill on the line as a huge dog, doyle making fun of you, hearing daniel´s childish laughter - this had to be HELL.
I think Doyle said it because he was afraid that Benyamine was going to make a bad decision just to look cool.

wow after i saw this episode i think Guy more highly than ever before. If he has lived on the streets 10 years i truly understand why he does not wonna other people feel miserable and being broke. this is what is called passing on good karma, anyone have heard that hand where Thomas Wahlroos were splitting a pot willingly with Guy after Guy mucked his his hand by mistake.

and by the way Thomas's father is almost as rich as Guy and Thomas is also one of the nicest guys i ever met, always ready for speak with micro stake players if they are not afraid of ask something about him.

ps. i'am really drunk so please leave my grammar alone

It makes me laugh that one of the most sensible posts so far in this thread is from the drunk guy.
