Nope! (regarding getting blinded out) Blom finally got back - and is suddenly down to 7k. Maybe he shouldn't have come back, lol. If we manage to see him double up/bust/say anything interesting etc we'll let you know.

We didn't see the hand, but we noticed the empty seat - Swedish sensation, and according to our own Gloria Balding "Prada model lookalike" Viktor Blom is no more for this tournament.

Blindsen ligger på 150/300. Blom synat UTG+1 och UTG+2 raisar till 850 och fyr syra synare innan turen kommer till Blom. Han går all in för 9300 och UTG+2 synar. Spelaren efter ställer för 36 000 och det foldas fram till UTG+2 som tänker ett tag innan han synar med 1010! Brädan visar 3644.....10! Och både Blom och spelaren med AA får lämna turneringen.

And Lana_Long is not correct. In the swedish government point of view, poker is to be regarded as a lottery. And every hand you play, is to be regarded as a lottery of its own. You have to pay taxes on every hand you win. Oh, did I mention you have to pay taxes on rakeback too? Can it get more ******ed? Oh yes. Let me illustrate:

You sit down at Railheaven with $100k and open shove the first hand. You get called and lose. Reload $100k. All in again and this time you win. Instaquits. Even steven for the session right? Yes, but...

Q. How much do you owe in taxes?

A. $70k

Q. Wtf doooode? Why? I broke even.

A. The government dont give a rats ass about your net results. The lottery law complies. First hand you open shoved $100k, got called and lost the $200k pot. Too bad. The next hand goes down the same way, only this time you win the $200k pot. And even though you contributed $100k to the hand you won, you still gonna have to pay taxes on the complete pot. The tax rate on lottery events is 35 % (if i remember correctly) meaning you owe $70k in taxes from these two hands. GG

Isildur1 played what like 370k hands? So it's reasonable to say that he won somewhere around 185k hands? This is a rough estimate but the average pot he played should be worth in the neighbourhood of $5k. 185 000 x 5000 = 925 000 000. Lolz. Pretty redonculous. And I don't care what anyone says, if I owed any government in the world $925 000 000, I'd try to keep a low profile.
