I just saw a picture of "Roothlus" wearing a ton of UB gear at one of his tables. I am just curious if people have been saying anything to anyone that may be blatantly and outwardly supporting UB?

Has there been any talk at the actual tables directly to players that might be involved, either via sponsorship or the scandal itself?

I thought so, but Peter Neff (#1PEN) appears to be a recent signing, but has FTP gear.

yall have misplaced anger. these ub wearers are getting paid. they have nothing to do with the cheating and will in no way mess up the investigation or help ub get out of it.

Not sure where you got that impression but i didn't pick up that impression on anyones post in this thread. it seems like op just wonders if people are giving them a hard time that's all.

Yeah, people never really gave Dutch a hard time so I'd be really surprised if a random UB gear wearer would get any ****.

Companies and individuals that accept money from UB/AP in the form of advertising, affiliates, sponsorships, or any other business dealings should be held accountable, imo. it has nothing to do with hate. it has to do with us (2p2 community) using our energy to try and put some pressure on the industry. the advertising companies, magazines and affiliates should be sent emails/letters explaining that we are boycotting them because they are accepting dirty money from UB and helping a corrupt organization attract more customers. Most of these customers probably have no idea about the scandal.

We could start a list of members who join this group and include the list in emails/letters. Set up a website, maybe try and raise some funds and do some advertising. I'll start working on a generic letter if I have some time in the next few days. However, I know there are others who would be better at it than I would be. Didn't have much time to make this post, anyone else have any thoughts or additional ideas?

I think it's time to start a "spam army" that basically fills the chat box of every UB table with a link to this site or another site exposing UB for the POS that it is.

I sat with a few players with UB gear the past couple weeks and initially I though I would say something but I guess once I got there I decided there was no need to draw attention to myself. I do much better at poker when I'm friendly with the other players rather than in conflict with them.

If I happened to see some person in an alone in an alley walking with UB gear and I was sure no one was around I might take a few swings - but at the poker table probably not.

I'm definitely game. I never had any money on UB but this hurts online poker in general. I have already sent an email to Tiffany's website and am getting ready to send one to her representation at "Suited Connections".

I don't really know how to get the word out to casual players though. Creating a website sounds like a great idea. I know I search Craigslist for local games all the time and we could give a brief synopsis and a link to the website for anyone searching "poker."

I'd even be down for creating some kind of flyer with the website a the same synopsis and distributing them to the little po dunk bar leagues.

right, of course. as u say, i mean they're just making money, right? they're making money while they lead clueless victims to the UB death chamber, right? drug dealers sell drugs to kids but they're getting paid, right? drug dealers have kids to feed too, right? hitmen who kill people get paid, right? hitmen take care of their families and need to buy gas and food too, right? this is america the land of capitalism, right? if you don't want to make money, leave the country, right? everybody is doing it, right?

i agree they shouldn't be harassed. however, i do think people should ask them if they plan on reconsidering their sponsorships and how soon they plan to do this. and their answers should be posted on 2p2.

im against spamming, but not against people chatting at the tables about this issue.

come on victor actively bringing players to ultimate bet is pretty bad form at this point, paid or not.

the only way they could responsibly be sponsors or affiliates of AP or UB at this point is to give all of their customers a disclaimer about the scandal and their current take on UB/AP's situation. i doubt anyone is going to do that, plus UB probably wouldnt allow it.

i dont think you understand why sites pay celebrities to be sponsors.
