Is Daniel ever playing some big live games when cameras aren't around? Seems to me he is just taking benefits of being poker player (freedom, plenty of traveling) without downsides (swings) since he doesn't actually play big games, just live tournaments (which he could be freerolling).

To answer your question...no Daniel never plays in big cash games unless cameras are around. He sometimes goes in Bobby's room and pretends to play and just runs his mouth and gets photo ops. Daniel s upside down in that house and since you can buy a mansion in The desert in Las Vegas for chump change it's not that impressive to players that know that.
Daniel was years ago well liked by most players and top pros but, not so much anymore. He's become like a fake top pro and every nose bleed cash game players knows he's bull****.
That's why he does crap like making bets with WSOP poker fans. Gives him the excuse of playing every tourney cause he knows he will get killed in Bobby's room or Aria.

He's down to insulting people's intelligence with his poker, sexuality and endorsements. If it wasn't for pokerstars he would be Layne Flacks roommate right now.

Players don't want to hear his complete BS anymore. Most just appease him.

What's bad is that he says he bought the house from Jennifer Harman (who he's said is one of his best friends) and according to Zillow, she bought it for $700k, lived there for 6 years, sold it to Daniel for $1.4M, and now it's only worth around $700k again. Seems like she ripped him off big time.

It was produced by Pokerstars apparently to impress Daniel's fans , but it doesn't show him in a particulary good light , his tastes are somewhat immature and he acts awkwardly when the mysterious woman appears in the background. I would expect a Pokerstars promo to be a lot more polished .

Not sure if Daniel even owns the house now and don't want to take the time to look it up. Also interesting her and Daniel did not speak for a year and a half and were very mad at each other. Just started speaking again a little while ago.

Actually, Daniel doesn't own the house. In that Cardplayer tour of his house he said he bought it from Jennifer Harman, which isn't true. He's just a tenant, which makes me think his net worth is far less than the estimates i've seen. Also don't believe that Marissa chick is anything but his employee who does his hair and makeup so he looks his best for cameras. She has a hair/makeup business in Vegas...doesn't make much sense that she would be able to just pickup and travel all around with him unless she was getting paid to do so.
