10. Daniel Negreanu, 8 cashes, 2 final tables, total winnings $331,860
But I read in the other thread that Negreanu sucked this year.

I would switch Ivey and Wahlbeck's positions, personally.

you do not seem to get it, that he is in a caliber of players who are expected to win a bracelet every year due to playing for maximizing his chances to win a bracelet, so I do not get it, why there is his name in that kind of list and group of players, telling that he had somewhat of a reasonable series.

Shaun Deeb had 5 cashes totaling around 45k not sure thats a top ten worthy, but 5 cashes is impressive

It was Top 10, not Top 50.

DeWolfe and Mercier should have topped DN and BG

Hold'em events should have more value due to bigger fields, and Juanda, Daniel and Barry did nothing in those, so my list goes to different route due to those factors.

Pete the Greek Vilandos! Winning a $1500 and finishing runner up in a 1K Stimulus 6K field!
Baldwin winning the 1500 and coming 3rd in the 10K PLHE.

I do want to get banned, but obviously it is not possible when I actually want it to due to negative slowplay.

Basebaldy should have made that list too.

I love how you suggest ELEVEN different players missing from their top ten.

You obv cant be on the list unless you are a "top" pro.

I laughed so hard when I saw Shaun Deeb's name. This has to be a level, right? The guy is an online preflop shove machine. He doesn't do well in live tourneys.

I was meant to offer alternatives. Obviously Ivey, Wahlbeck, Lisandro, Lunkin, Parker, Mueller and Sung belongs to that list, but three remamaining spots should have been filled with the best possible performanced players in the 2009 WSOP.

Pete Vilandros should be on here. He's a 70 year-old Greek guy who finished second to steve sung in the $1k stimulus event and then won a $1500 NLHE with about 2500 players. Pretty sick.

When we think about relatively, who would have expect SFD to cash that many events at this years WSOP. Darryl Fish had also great series what comes to field sizes he played at and obv De Wolfe, Alaei, Tran and Mercier as a bracelet winners should have been in TOP 20, but TOP 10 would have been maybe too much for them.

Not that I care but I think 3 WSOPs ago Todd Witteles was the WSOP POTY by points (or whatever the title is called) and they simply decided to go with Jeff Madsen or someone else instead because he was more appealing.

EDIT - I must have butchered that because in Madsen's big year he obviously would have had more points than Witteles, but whatever, something along those lines happened.

I know haxton came second in the 40k.
