So surprising that you constantly berate people in chat and every reg thinks youre just a giant dbag

Last edited by McG_STL; 02-27-2012 at 11:18 PM. Reason: and you pretend to be a girl, or lead people to assume you're a girl. either way that's ****ing weird

Excellent, sounds like we're getting somewhere.

Wait, what? Is this really part of the same post??

I made a mistake, I ****ed up, grossly misused the Marketplace, I'm sorry, but...I'm not responsible for it.

I think I'd have a fraction more respect for you if you had just posted "I don't have the money/don't want to pay the money, I don't care what y'all think I'm not selling here anymore, I'm outta here mother****ers!". At least that would be honest.

Most people were accepting that there was no malicious intent, but given all the talk of your great character, they had hoped you might handle your business in the end. As for the people who know you and know your character, I think some of them just learned that they don't know as much as they thought they did.
The staking thread was pretty much over for me at this point.

People make mistakes; that's part of life. How you handle those mistakes goes a long way to showing what kind of person you are. Anyone who thinks this was a good way to handle a mistake, well, I don't know what to tell you.

Wow.

Of course we're all going to have a little different idea of ideal ethics and morality, but just because you don't take them into account when choosing who to do business with doesn't mean that no one else does. And to suggest that people are stupid to care who they're doing business is, well, really stupid.

For the people saying that it is telling that he didn't just purposely lose in the MTT, I think that is a bit misplaced.

Guys that have a very small % of themselves aren't usually going to choose the route that results in them having zero chance at making any money, even if it's the safer route.

I guess that it's mostly just irrelevant though, not really telling in one way or another.

Coming this April, it's the Lock/Bluff Challenge II.

I have a feeling that tmay420 will miraculously come from behind to win it on April 30th.

And Lock won't find any reason to suspect anything.

Just a hunch.

That is idiotic logic. He owes Redgrape 18k no lesser amount based on your yard math or that he over sold himself.

He just won a tourney and was trying to sell 85-95% of himself right before the tournament started. Nothing about him overselling himself is relevant he still owes the money.

By the way a guy who over sells themselves then tanks is even a bigger scumbag thief. Please stop with these idiotic posts claiming red grape should get something less. He bought 10% of the action. That was the only deal consummated. Nothing else is relevant. That he might have oversold is an issue between douchebag Tim and his other backers.

Please stop with the idiotic scummy scam logic he owes less. It just makes you look silly.

The guy is clearly a degen. He just won a big score and was desperately trying to sell another 10% of himself right before the start.

That he still tried to win is irrelevant as it seems he never keeps much of himself. Why should he when he can just steal back big chunks when he wins ?

I played cash games with him at PCA, he was such a douche and had an ego that barely let him fit through the double doors in to the poker room.

It's really really incredible that people will still actually even play there. The collective memory of the poker community is just absurdly short, I guess. And when you're one of the only sites willing to operate in the US, you're gonna get business. I just hope no one complains when Lock gets seized a la FTP or even just shuts down on its own accord and no one ever sees a cent of their money.
Agreed, Lock has always seemed very shady to me.

If you oversell yourself surely the thing to do is lose on purpose, and pocket the change?
