Is this the place that was brought up a couple months back? Glad there still going. The guy that runs it used to work for the state so he found way to do it. No rake, and it's a private club. Waiting for the wrong politician to get mad about it.

yes legal because they don't have rake just membership fees ... there's a technicality in the law that allows them to do this.

If you find yourself in that casino you made a mistake. way to much gang activity.

This poker room is pretty awesome but they need to increase the member fee or they wont survive.

8 hours is a short drive in Texas shoot you can drive 24 hours and still be in the state.

Last I remember there were a ton of little poker rooms throughout Texas. I recall driving through a semi small town and there being a poker room behind a pizza place. Seemed legit.

Yeah, someone who thinks Eagle Pass is near El Paso (480 miles apart) probably doesn't have navigation as their strong suit. He probably thinks Boston is near Washington D.C. (439 miles apart). Heck, compared to that, San Francisco is practically in Los Angeles's back yard (383 miles apart).

Eagle Pass is near San Antonio though (143 miles apart) on the Texas scale of things. (I lived in San Antonio and my high school played their high school in football back in the day; those were some long road trips.) Someday when I'm back at my mother's ranch (~160 miles north of Eagle Pass) I might have to make the road trip to check out the casino.
