I believe I first heard "donkey" or "donk" used by Mike Matusow.

Anyone know the true origin of "donkey"?

I hate when donkeys call me donkey.

I do like rolling into tournaments and smelling in the air that a donk bomb just went off though.

I believe Phil Laak coined the term. Antonio or Laak talks about it on an old WPT episode.

It came from the first appearance of Mario. The creator called the beast donkey kong. He was Japanese and thought donkey means stupid.
