I would think things would move fairly quickly(for the DOJ anyway).

(no inside information went into this post)
I like this post.

"We are going to set up a fund for US players" All players paid back except US and timeline not available.. lol just thought that was funny... one time for the US players!

Wait, I thought Bitar n co. were running from the DOJ? This statement makes it seems like he stood his ground.

Good news, I dont trust the DOJ at all though.

I wonder if the doj will take out all costs associated with the payment processor to pay the US players out on the players. You would think going to be costs involved in paying everyone. So we end up getting like .90 on the dollar?

Nah, they'll announce everything once UIGEA is overthrown with online poker legislation and payment processors are up and running.

***you'll get your check along with a W-2G form lol...EASY MONIES!!!

Great news. I'm curious what will happen to our FTP points/medals. Hopefully, a fair cash conversion will be applied. Can't see the DOJ allowing them to become worthless since the accumulated value for all US players must be in the millions of dollars.

Tapie should pay processing fees

The DOJ and Congress are different partts of the US government. They don't communicate very much.

More importantly, not even Congress knows what Congress is going to do next. DOJ sure as hell doesn't know what Congress is going to do next.

Spoke with my father, a former DoJ employee. He said the DoJ isn't going to pay money out of there own pocket to pay players back. Most likely they are releasing frozen (what some people here have referred to as 'seized') assets and settling with the former owners, maybe other elements are involved.

for breaking some story that would be reported by numerous outlets minutes later (even if SP wasn't around)? lol

hope ftp is ok after this.

Interested about two things:

1) Is the DOJ accepting responsibilities for the payouts to track down those who do not claim winnings on their taxes?

2) When the accounting is opened up, those who never had the funds taken from their bank accounts will be exposed. I hope the DOJ or GBT goes after those phantom deposits. It is still a debt.

I'm not saying you should donate to SP, but every article I've seen quotes SP.

Nobody else had this story. Just DF.

For what it's worth, I never thought Harry et al set out to make everyone more miserable. They just were pessimistic about the outlook, which is reasonable given the situation, and they posted such thoughts in a place that solicits opinions. Sure, that might not exactly brighten our days, but that doesn't mean such an outcome was their intent. In fact, I would guess that even the most gloom-and-doom naysayers about Full Tilt hoped to be wrong about their predictions. (Then again, I don't put anything past some of the trolls in any internet forum.)

Personally, I feel like I'm facing a four-outer on sixth street -- I like my chances better now than I did on previous streets, but I still won't be totally satisfied until I'm dragging the pot.
